To be honest with you, my dr wouldn't be happy.  He sometimes tells people that if they can't commit to loosing some weight before surgery than he won't do it.  WLS is so much more about your mind set and commitment than people know.  The surgeon can help you with the size of your pouch, but can't do anything about your mind-set.  Unfortunately, this is why some people fail.  What happened yesterday, is done and gone and you can't change that, but you can change what happens here and now.  So get up, brush yourself off and start anew.

I feel your pain. I did the same thing 2 weeks ago. I just lost sight of my goal. I talked to Slaon about it and asked the same thing "should I do a liquid diet?" and she told me no. That I need to understand a healthier way of eating and learn to make better choices. So, I found a protein shake that I actually like and started have a protein shake 2 times a day and 1 semi healthy meal. I try to make it lunch, because I get home from work so late. I also dont even walk into the kitchen after 630. I feel like it works for me, it might work for you. And I have never been a big exerciser but I started fast walking at lunchtime so I dont have to see all the things my co workers are eating and the same at dinnertime I walk right after so I am not grazing on the kids leftovers. LOL. Pick your self up!!! You can do it!!! Look at your post from the past couple of weeks and you were walking around the building in great spirits......this is just a phase that we emotional women go through......it will pass. Drink lots of water....that helps me too.

oh i'm still walking (did not yesterday however) and i'm drinking a TON

and I know WHAT to do. I  just don't do it.  it's NUTS.  I'm insane.  I think I'm really angry at brian.  he is not trying at all. and this anger makes me eat because if he's not doing it then I"m not doing it because if i do it and he does not, then i have to leave him when i get thin as we will have NOTHING in common... so what's the point of staying married.

see i told you i was insane.

you can get back on track. we are all here to help each other. how about posting your menu here and see what everyone else is eating? Maybe that will help you jump back on the wagon.

it's quite alright.......there must have been some trigger for you that set off the binge....the key to this is acknowledge the trigger and try to not have that trigger happen again....I know easier said than done.....your nutritionist is there to encourage you to do well......if you're up in weight then it's their job to assess what happened (BE HONEST) and then they can give you advice on what to do if you have the urge to binge again.  no one is going to horsewhip you.....you've done that to yourself enough already.
