Ughhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I called my insurance company to check on my paperwork yesterday, and they said they had everything they needed to make a decision, & to call back today. So......
  I called back early this morning & was on hold forever. The lady gets back on & says "We are missing some lab work, a TSH & urinalysis to be specific. This all we need to make your decision" I could have cried! These tests have been done......and they were all on the same set of labs! So I called Dr. Magnesuns office, and I called my PCP........ I cant get ahold of anyone & I am not getting any calls back!
  I am so upset!!!!!!! how can you have all my labs but missing 2 pieces off the same sheet of paper??????????????? Now I can truely say I see why people go postal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honey it happens alot. I had blood work done for Vitamin D issues along with cbc, tsh, lipid panel. Went to the docs and they had the V-D blood work but none of the others they called the lab and they promised to fax over results right away. Well their right away is 3 hours later... What a joke. They should have your stuff ready when you go to your appointment... I know it makes me angry to.. I think sometimes they are idiots...Good luck and be patient....Good things come to those who wait...

I know exactly how fustrated you are. I just went through that last week. Keep calling the office and have someone contact the insurance company and straighten it all out. It will be just fine. I think insurance companies do it on purpose so that they can deny. Some people wont fight a denial....so it saves them money. Just my thought. So put the gloves on and fight.

Take a deep breath.  Unfortunately this is probably not the last hurdle that you're going to have to jump.  It will get resolved.  I know you were looking for an answer today, but just keep trying your docs office and hopefully someone will answer.  Patience is a virtue!!!  I know how hard it is for you right now.  I still remember how I was, climbing the walls until someone finally gave me the answer that I wanted to hear.

you know...I have the same gripe with paper pushers.....they LOSE the paper they push and could care less that they hold the balance of someone's life in their clumsy hands.....it irks me to no end!  i hope you get a resolution soon honey!

Thanx for the all the encouragement! I really appreciate it! I got so frustrated that I went to sleep! But I did finally talk to my PCP & the lady was soooo decent. She found the labs & in bold pen marked the results the insurance company said they didnt have.......she said the same thing I did that they had them cuz they were all together! The TSH was in the middle of the report! She found it very amuzing that they said they didnt have them! So the got faxed over. Two hours later, they said she faxed them to the wrong department & would have to refax them to the correct number.......how hard would it have been to walk over to another cubicle & get them????????? But I oh so politely, said "yes ma'am" & took the correct fax number, called the PCP office back, and she re-faxed them. After all was said & done, they finally had the missing labs, and told me call back next Tuesday! Ughhhhh......so now I sit & wait again! This has been horrible!

Wow I am glad that they finally got it... Now the wait and see game.. You just need to be patient now....I hope things all work out in your favor  I will say a prayer for you and keep positive happy thoughts... Good Luck Honey I hope the wait is over for you soon....
