polaner all fruit

Ok, I go round-and-round in my head about the whole "natural" sugar thing.  Polaner All Fruit spread says that it is only sweetened with natural fruit juice.   I checked out the sugar content and I think it said 10g per serving.  It had a little asterisk next to the sugar content stressing that the sugars were from the natural sugars in the fruit.  I just wanted to see if anyone out there is eating this stuff.  I have a hard time with the Smucker's Sugar Free preserves......the consistency is like Jello and it isn't all that appealing to me.

I have eaten the all fruit pre-op.  Loved it on pound cake with whipped cream.  Used to be a big hit when I would take it to parties.  It is very sweet and I don't think that I personally am willing to try after sugery.  If you like it alot, please don't let me know because I will be so tempted. (LOL)

I have eaten it post and preop - used sparingly - with jif peanut butter on wheat bread---and its fine for me.  I cannot tolerate 10 grams of refined sugar without bloating and possible dumping but natural fruit sugars are OK for me.  I can eat a small banana, clementine, apple, etc  with no GI side effects and no weight gain.   But everyone's tolerances may be different.   As you may know, Allfruit is not like jello and is very easy  to spread.

Thank Karen.  I do fine with natural sugars in fruit so I'm thinking that I'll be OK with the natural sugars in the Allfruit.
