UHC Choice Plus

Does any one have UHC choice plus health coverage in maryland with an exclusion on wls that states that nothing dealing with the treatement of obesity is covered and does not have any mention of morbid obesity not being covered?

I have UHC Choice Plus and WLS is covered. Did your employer take that out? You should check online under specials to see that it is covered? I hope this helps. 

the certificate of coverage states that no type of treatment for obesity is not covered not even if deemed medically nessecary.  How ever in  searching on this web site i found somone had said there was a diffrence between obesity and morbid obesity: which i am considered, morbily obese.  which could be enough of a technicallity to get approval.  I hope.  Thank you for the input any and all comments and support really helps.
