be careful on your trip to NYC tomorrow. My biggest fear is steping off the curb at the wrong time so please pay attention to what you are doing and have a safe and fun trip.

Another helpful hint someone taught me a long time ago, never get out of a cab on the traffic side. Always get out on the curb side.

And even if it rains tomorrow, it will still be fun. One of my first vacations I ever took without parents was to NY. Our first day there it rained. I had more fun walking around in the rain! It was a blast!

Enjoy, enjoy!

((( GAIL )))

Thanks for your concern!!!  We'll be fine - as long as everyone pays attention to the Walk/Don't Walk signs.  I've been going to NYC for the past 8-10 years, and have never had a problem.

Cabs have signs posted inside that say, "Please exit on the curb side," and some cab drivers will even tell you that.

Hugs,

Tia

Just a thought, subways are MUCH FASTER than cabs.  Anytime I go to the island, I always use the subway and if I'am lower Man. I walk.  Like DC and Paris, the Metro is the only way
