Update and question
Well I saw a surgeon on the shore today and he said I definitely have a hernia in the belly button region. He said it was probably caused by my tubal 10 years ago. He said its small but it needs to be repaired but said since I was planning on having Lap-Band that they should just do it then because it wouldn't make sense to put a mesh in and then have to go through the mesh later to put in a band. So im happy with the idea of having it done all it once and one surgery/anesthesia.
My question is this....since I know they havent submitted paperwork as of this week do I need to call them and let them know about this and have them get preapproval for this too or what?

I don't have experience with this, but my guess is yes, you need to tell your bariatric surgeon. They will be able to advise you what needs to be done in this situation. This can't be the first time this has come up with one of their patients.
By the way, I like the idea of doing it all at once, too!

Hi, I had a tubal too. They didnt really say what mine was from only incisional is all they said...Glad you can get both done. I asked about that when I had some other surgery and they told me the insurance would only cover one thing at a time. Who knows maybe they just wanted me back a 2nd time. Good Luck...
