That's nice that you have such a good relationship with your parents.  I do, too, and agree, there's nothing like it in the world.  My family is my everything!!

Trust me, your hubby wasn't lying - it's ALWAYS easier for the people around you to see your weight loss and you probably HAVE lost it first in your face.  Whatever!!  Just say thanks and smile!!

I see your food choices at dinner last night worked out well.  I PM'd you my cell number, but since I didn't hear from you, I figured all was well!!

Good Morning Angie, I am happy to see your still in a good relationship with your parents. Thats great they supported you through your wls. I believe your hubby as mine told me yesterday he can tell I have lost weight. I said how and he said your face looks thinner I just laughed at him... I cant see it at all... He said your face is not as puffy....Yea ok!!!!! Have a safe trip to BALT.......

Rain Rain go AWAY !!!!!

today I am grateful for

1.  One day closer to NYC:  even though some friends have had to back out the rest
of us will just have to  have enough fun for them as well!!!!!
I am definatly taking my new camera though so beware !!!!!

2.  That I am getting some help with a baby shower I want to throw for a girl on the bowling league!!  Some others have jumped right in with offers of buying the cake and helping
take up a collection for a big giftcard !!!!!!

3.  For friends:  both here on the board and in my other life !!!!

Darla Good AM, I hope the rain goes away!!!!! We need some sun.... I hope you all have a blast in NY... I wish I could go that way I could meet all you gals... Glad you got help with the shower its always nic eto have some extra hands. Its great to have help be it $$$$$ or anything else..

Morning!!  As long as it's gone before NYC, I'll be happy!!

I'm REALLY sorry Kathy and Deb won't be going!!  WAAAH!!!

HOWEVER, if you convey to me one more time that you're worried about crime/pickpockets, etc., YOU won't be going, either!!!  It's gonna be okay.  STOP listening to your father!!!!  LOL!!!

It'll be interesting to take before and after photos on the bus!!  Can't wait!!

Good Morning Tia, Yes another gray dreary day.... I hope and pray you all have wonderful weather Sat. I hope your foot is feeling somewhat better so you can pound the pavement in NY. Its great you will have some time off.. Will the kids be around? If so enjoy them while you can.... I love homemade taco salad....Its the best.....I love to sprinlkle Old Bay on mine....I hope you have a wondeful day too...Take care.....

   I am Thankful for...

1) My oldest son... He knows my hubby needs a new car badly..He got money from his savings and told me last night instead of paying his truck off he would love to get his dad a new car.. I explained we dont want any more payments. He said he would even help with that. I suggested a Hyundai or something small. He wants him to get a truck BOO gas hog... I dont know what to do...I do know I am proud to say he is my son...

2) Thankful my sons GF went to doc after being sick for 2 weeks. She has lung infection and ear infection. Glad she now has meds onboard....

3) Happy as heck my scale claims I have lost 3 more pounds ......I am so glad I want some weight off before attempting surgery.......

4) Thankful for this board and the great people that are still in our crazy world...

Yep, the kids will be around - I took off specifically because they're off from school.  We'll have a good time - I enjoy spending time with them.

Your son sounds very generous!  You obviously raised him right!!

Way to go on the 3 pounds!  Keep up the good work!
