3 THINGS FOR FRIDAY EVE!!!
I think we can, I think we can, I think we can!! Get to Friday, that is!!! Yet another yucky day - when did Baltimore move to Seattle???
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. TVP - I bought the last bag the Gucci Giant had. I opened it, tentatively smelled it (smelled kind of nutty)(the TVP, NOT me!!), and poured it over my Greek yogurt and strawberries. Not bad!!! Don't worry Ren, when I find another bag, I'll grab it for you!
2. That I have one more day of work (today doesn't count cause I'm here), and then I'm off until the 14th!! Don't worry, though, off doesn't mean not around here!! Even if I wasn't, I get constant updates!! LOL!!!
3. Homemade taco salad - yum!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning sweetiepie!!! This weather is the pits, but at least so far it's been light/misty rather than the cats & dogs downpour that just runs off and doesn't soak in. The cashiers' supervisor took today off to go see the cherry blossoms (maybe not such a good day for that .. uhoh ) .. so I need to be covering his stuff today. If today is like the rest of the days this week have been, I'll barely have time to take a breath!
1. A day closer to the weekend .. no big plans .. other than the dentist chair .. tho on Sunday we are going to do a test run of loading the Impala on the dolly behind the RV for our trip next weekend. Might take Freddy up to the community colleage and practice my driving (actually, my backing up and parking .. ) One of these days I'm going to get up the nerve to make the appointment with DMV to get my non-com B license to drive Freddy on the road.
2. Work .. it'a always a challenge .. new and different things every day .. keeps my mind alert working on solutions.
3. Who I am ... and what I have made of myself and my life. That is a given every day!
I'll be thinkin' of y'all on your way to NYC on Saturday whilst I'm sitting in the dentist's chair getting my chipped toofie fixed.

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Oh, sweetie, I FEEL your dental pain!!! SIGH. But I WISH you could come to NYC with us!! We'll plan the fall trip as soon as Megabus posts October dates, so I'll let you know!!
Um...yeah, I think today's NOT a good day to visit DC - although....a bad day in DC beats a good day at work!!
I'll take lots of pics in NYC and send them to you. As soon as I figure all that out - you know me!

Mo Good Luck at the dentist...Have fun loading the car on the RV. You are a brave woman to think about driving that RV. Hubby and kids want me to pull the 5th wheel and go on a trip.. NO WAY!!!!! Have a great day and weekend too..

3. girl child wants a party, girl child cleans the house
4. my new table gets delivered tomorrow
my arm is a bit sore from blood work yesterday but i'll survive.
no test for me now till the 13th but we meet with the NUT. on the 8th. i think i lost NOTHING!

Yep, SIMPLY lovely TVP!!! I'm already thinking of ways to use it creatively - do you remember Chi-Chi's fried ice cream? Picture scoops of nsa vanilla ice cream, frozen until solid, and then rolled in a mixture of TVP, cinnamon and Splenda. You could then drizzle s/f honey or agave nectar over it!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

2. My parents are coming to visit tomorrow! I just seen them a week ago, but I hate living so far away!
3. That I have the option to still be a Daddy's girl and a momma's too! For my whole family that has supported me this entire journey and will continue to do so! AND for a husband who (probably) lied and said he can see my weight loss in my face even though I am pretty sure you can't
No plans today, just a normal work day... hopefully a productive one since tomorrow will be a deadly quiet one with just me working!
