3 THINGS FOR HUMP DAY!!!

Morning guys...

Three things for today...

1. My Dog is behaving... Yesterday he was ROTTEN to the core and out of control all morning, today he wants to be loving and cuddly.  (he is a 3 year old Dalmatian rescue)

2. My jeans fit and don't hurt my incisions!  I have been afraid to wear them, but am tired of jogging pants.

3. I have done well the last two days at work, so going back wasn't as big of a feat as I expected!

Have a good day!!! :)  I love NYC and I wish I was coming this weekend, but just don't think I am ready for that yet...

Hi Angie!!

So your dog is a typical toddler, huh?  Happy is like an out-of-control bottle rocket on a leash sometimes, but she's only 15 pounds - not Dalmatian sized at all!!!

I'm glad work's going well.  I look forward to hearing about your post-op visit with Dr. A.

Don't worry, I'll be putting together a NYC trip for the fall.  If you REALLY wanted to go on Saturday, you'd PROBABLY be okay (you could even ask Dr. A), but I WOULDN'T let you eat anything!!!!  I'd be too afraid you'd get sick and THAT would be miserable!!!!  My first NYC trip post-op, I puked on the bus on the way back from getting a really cheeseburger stuck.  Not fun!!!

Have a great day!

After the cheeseburger story I will wait for the fall, I did ask Lee if he thought we might drive up on Saturday and he reminded me my parents are possibly coming back here on Friday to check on me *grins* I don't think they quite are over my St. Agnes experience yet!  My mom is still calling twice a day to make sure I am okay...  :)

Trix weights in about 85lbs, he is HUGE and all muscle... I think some of his rotten antics the past few days are because he got used to us being home for an entire week after I got out of the hospital - and because I am not taking him out to move around and run as much since I can't control him myself yet...

Well, the cheeseburger was because we stopped at a rest stop on the way home - the choices were Nathan's Hotdogs, Cinnabon and Roy Rogers!!!  I thought it'd be okay, I'd get a grilled chicken sandwich at Roy's - no grilled chicken!!  So I got the burger, ditched the bun, dipped it in mayo and it got ROYALLY stuck.  For like an hour and a half, I was in the bus bathroom, TRYING like hell to bring it up.  No go, so I figured it would pass eventually, but nooooo, it decided to come back up, on its own, with no warning!!!  GROSS!!!

Let your parents check on you, it'll make them feel better (and you'll feel better, too!).   NYC isn't going anywhere!!  It'll wait for you.

O M G!! 85 pounds!!  Holy cow!!  Literally!!!  LOL!!!

I can't wait to go to NYC and be able to comfortably walk around!  We have been going every March for the past few years (before this year...) and it has never been great for me, but now that I am on my way losing weight, I can't wait to get up there and see it all!

I can't believe Roy Rogers doesn't have grilled chicken!

1. My boss/friend's 3 year old little girl has been in the PICU since Saturday (and to make matters worse she has a 2 year old AND her husband is in Iraq) ....we just got news that she tested negative for a bunch of scary stuff (she adopted her from Guatemala so they're testing for all kinds of things)....the situation is still pretty tense but the batch of "negatives" was good news.

2.  I continue to survive at work being down a social worker due to the situation above.

3. I am going to a new church this weekend.....it sounds like a GREAT place....I'm really excited about it......having this to look forward to is helping me get through the week at work!

and a bonus..............as of this morning I've lost 83 freakin' pounds!!!!  amazing.

Everyone have fun in NYC this weekend!!  My godforsaken money pit of a house has had issue  after issue lately so the money just wasn't available for me to go this weekend.......hopefully things will be better for the next time!!

Good Morning All!!

Today I'm thankful for:

1.  My husband/boyfriend/sweetheart - I just love him to pieces and I can't stress that enough.

2. Calvin and Hobbes books - My 10 yo son just discovered them and went from forcing him to read something to being a bookworm. He can't put them down. I have to yell at him to go to bed at night and put his book away.

3.  Work. I'm always glad to have it and especially in this economy I'm very grateful for it.

4. House showings. We've had 3 in the last 4 days and finally have hope that we might get this place sold yet.

Im cold and its dreary but I got eggs boiling for salad and work waiting so have a good day y'all.
