So what's everyone eating? Any new, good, easy recipes? The one for the TVP fried rice sounds good - I might try that next weekend.
Yesterday:
B - Salt bagel with Tofutti cream cheese
L - 1/2 shrimp salad sandwich on wheat toast, cup of minestrone soup
D - 2 BK Burger Shots (sliders from BK)
All my fluids, all my vits!!!
Next!!
No new recipes today. I must be PMSing because all I wanted yesterday was carbs and chocolate!

L - mexican casserole
S - s/f choc covered almonds
dried cherries
D - 2 small pieces thin crust pizza
2 mini twix bars
LNS - skim milk w/splenda
76 oz. fluids, 68.5g protein, all my vits!

Not discussing fluid intake! Bad day yesterday. I spent 2 1/2 hrs at nighttime pediatrics with my 12yr old Joey and forgot to bring anything to drink. I felt like even my eyeballs were dry!! BTW- Joey is fine. He was using a switchblade to cut something and ended up cutting his wrist.

General John Stricker Middle School's steel drum band is at the nursing home today........they're AWESOME! I feel like I'm on a cruise ship!!

L: piece of chicken feta pita pizza, green salad, and 1/2 bag peanuts
D: Salmon cake and my WLS-friendly coleslaw recipe.......(shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, light mayo, splash of white vinegar, splenda to taste, finely diced green pepper & onion, 2 mini boxes of raisins)
S: 3/4 cup Edy's NSA mint chocolate chip ice cream
S #2: 1 scrambled egg with a slice of 2% cheese, 1 oz. ham and 1/2 whole grain tortilla
