NYC INFO!

Okay, I just spoke with Megabus - they've reinforced my belief that "customer service" is an oxymoron.

Anyway, the west side of the White Marsh Park and Ride is the side nearest Honeygo Boulevard.

Make sure you print your reservation/parking pass from the Megabus site.

Do not leave anything on the bus - there's no guarantee we'll have the same bus to/from.

Again, here are the basic details:

Saturday - April 4, 2009 - Departing from the White Marsh Park & Ride - right off of 95 @ 7:25 a.m., arriving in NYC at 7th Avenue & 28th Street at approximately 10:45 a.m.   

Return trip - Departing from NYC at 7:15 p.m., arriving in Baltimore at approximately 10:45.  

Remember to wear your comfy walking shoes (trust me - choose comfort over style for this trip, a lightweight jacket, sunglasses, plenty of $$ (cash and credit), including $1 bills for cabs, tips, etc., and a desire to have a blast!!

Dinner reservations have been made for 3:30 at Carmine's (theatre district) - www.carminesnyc.com.  Sorry, but the only other dinner time was 10 p.m.!!!

I THINK I have everyone's cell numbers and everyone should have mine.  If not, let me know!

Tia - I just had a thought since Carmine's takes reservations...is there a dress code?

Nope!!  They (and I) ask only that you BE clothed!!!!! 

The only reason reservations are a must is because they're in the heart of the theatre district and are ALWAYS swamped!!!! 

I'm wearing jeans, sneakers, etc.  Not sure about a shirt! 

What?  You thought you'd get a completely serious answer from me?  Silly girl!!

Just an FYI.  The My Reservations portion of Megabus.com has been temporarily disabled, so I hope people already printed their reservation and parking pass.  I've contacted them via the website to see how to rectify this...waiting on a response!

I've ridden Megabus a few times, and they really are user friendly. The best place to park is the closest to Ikea (the West side of park-n-ride exits towards the mall. If you aren't parking, have your ride drive into park-n-ride, and go straight where the MTA busses go. Megabus has a sign near the end of the main sidewalk.

I'm fighting a nasty chest cold. If it gets any better, I'll be in... if it gets any worse, I won't. But, I'm hoping for the best.

If I don't make it... when you guys get back to Penn Station, the bus leaves from the 8th ave. side. I entered near 7th Ave, and walked straight out the 8th ave side, and the stop was just about in front of me.

Edited to add that my printer isn't working, so I wrote my reservation numbers down, and they were fine with that. They had all of my info just from me showing them my reservation number.

O M G!!!  You GOTS to get better!!!  WAAAAAH!!!!

Get some Mucinex and/or your butt to the doctor's.  If you need me to take you, let me know and I'll pick you up after work and take you somewhere - even a CVS Minute Clinic. 

Drink lots of fluids!!!  Hope you feel better soon!
