Carefirst BCBS, don't even bother???

Hi girl , sorry to correct you  but the surgery does cause you to loose weight (ie) loose diabeties, some people loose the meds  a week after surgery , so yes the ryn does help most patients apx 80% of them to go off thier meds and most all of them to loose a lot of meds. That is why im getting the surgery i am only 70lbs over weight but my co morbidities are out of the park cho-550, try-1200, sugar A-8.2 but hey some are going down.

I have carefirst bluechoice open acess my doc does all of the bariatric surgerys and it does cover lap band if it is medically nessasary, call them and ask the doc for the surgery code for lap band right, then call your care first and ask them give them the code it and make sure she ask to whom she is speaking with they will ask for code and tell you if they cover it. good luck
