Darla Good Morning. So glad to hear you had a good class. I hope I can do that one day too. It sounds like fun.. That is so sweet about your dad. I always tell my kids you will always be my babies. This just goes to prove that it is the truth...You are always their babies......I hope you have a great day too....
Julie
Mom I hope you rest in Peace knowing that you were loved and will be missed. Keep love alive in your

DP -
Thanks for the Happy thoughts!!! She'll get an extra Iams toothbrush today for being good at the doctor's!!! LOL!!!
NYC - Um.....Darla? DO NOT tell your Dad that you asked me if we could go to the Harley store!!! Actually, tell him we're going to pick up men and get tattoos!!!!!!!!
In all seriousness, tell him that midtown Manhattan, where we'll be spending most of our day, is cleaner and more secure, with less crime, than downtown Baltimore. I've never worried about pickpockets, etc., although I make sure to be careful with my purse, etc. And....there seems to be a cop on EVERY corner, directing traffic. Honestly, I ALWAYS feel safe. We're not going into any unsavory neighborhoods.

1. That I have you all here to ask dumb questions that I just can't figure out on my own about WLS and what my body is doing! (See another post in a few... LOL)
2. That WLS was an option and that I can get this weight off! I am feeling better and better and my back hasn't felt bad in over a week even after grocery shopping!
3. For friends and family - what would I do without them???
Angie -
I'm so glad you're starting to feel better. Each day will bring improvement, I promise.
And don't worry, no questions are stupid - you're still new to this and it seems to be an ongoing learning process. How will you learn anything if you don't ask?
And as far as the applesauce - pay attention to sugars, too. Some people are more sensitive to even natural sugars. My nut gave me the rule of thumb of under 5 grams of sugar. Just be careful and take your time!
Hugs,
Tia
Mom I hope you rest in Peace knowing that you were loved and will be missed. Keep love alive in your

I generally don't have a hard time staying away from breads, etc., but I did indulge in my all-time fave bagel - a salt bagel. I think the last time I had one was about two years ago, so there's no danger of me becoming addicted!!
No way would I want that snooze alarm to give me another hour - I'd be in too deep a sleep and would NEVER wake up!! LOL!
Have a good one!

Morning Tia:
1. That poor Happy's dew claw, which bent backward and was hanging by a bloody bit of tissue, came right off when the vet clipped it. Her nails grow really quickly, even though I have them almost drilled down. Apparently, she caught the dew claw on something and when I got home yesterday, she raised her paw as if to say, "Look! Boo-boo!" I called the vet right away and they got us right in. She was supposed to go in today for a nail trim and some other stuff, so we just had it all done at once. So......$255 later, Happy's okay!! Thank God!! It could've been a LOT more painful for her.
I’m so glad Happy is going to be ok. I hate when our puppies hurt. And OMG the vet is so expensive. I tried to get health insurance for them but Hannah is denied due to her seizures.
2. Fresh bagels - Okay, okay, how about just the smell of them? I stopped at an authentic Jewish bagel shop this a.m. - it smelled heavenly!!
You give me a nice salt bagel with a shmear of cream cheese, some lox, lettuce tomato and red onion and I’m a happy girl.
3. That I only hit the snooze alarm once this a.m., thereby allowing me to do what I needed to do early and get in here to prepare things. But.....what is UP with snooze alarms? Why do they buy you 7 or 9 minutes? Why not round it off to 10? LOL!!
Here is that answer: it's really all a matter of mechanics. Back in
1956 when the snooze button was first introduced, alarm clocks had
standardized gears. The snooze gear had to mesh with the teeth of the
other gears. Due to the configuration of the gears, a nice, round
10-minute snooze cycle was out of the question, so the engineers had
to choose between nine minutes or 10-plus minutes. As we all know,
punctuality is a virtue, so the engineers went with nine minutes.
Hope everyoone has a great day!
Tia
You too darling…
Hi Tia! I'm glad your Happy is okay.
I really need to do this today. Things have been a bit rough in my family.
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. The hospital is taking really good care of my dad. We are really hoping his lung and kidney function improve enough for him to come home soon.
Oh sweetie I hope your dad is ok soon!
2. Snuggly puppies.
Aren’t they the BEST???!!!!!!
3. Video games that help keep your mind off the crap in life.
Which ones to you like?
Good Morning, I continue to be really stressed. I just decided on the way into work that I just can't get it all done. I am exhausted. So I will not be going to my favorite classes at the pool tonight. I need the time to work and get things done and perhaps get to sleep at a decent hour. It kills me to give up my class tonight. It is one of my favorite things. But I just have to. I am also concerned about the NY trip on Sat. I don't even know if my ticket is transferable. But if there is someone who does not have a ticket and would like to buy mine, we could work something out.
Debbie, I am so sorry you are so tired. I know the feeling. Truly. I would hate to miss my favorite class. That’s always the start of my slippery downfall. I wish I could buy your ticket but I’m going to have a houseful of teen girls for a slumber party to kick off spring break.
I hope all of you have a great day and that all your cares and worries resolve themselves.
Today, I am grateful for:
1 - A great Pilates Reformer Class last night! Our trainer was into some of the more challenging stuff last night. P.S. Darla did GREAT!
2 - A beautiful day!
3 - My OH Family
4 - That the SF ice cream is gone! I knew I should not have bought it. Now it is gone and I will not buy it again!
I say that all the time about stuff. Now I’m going to mean it.
Debbie
Crock pots ... we all know that I am not over domestic, but I've been spoiling Mr Mo with this dinner cooking thing (If I fix dinner from scratch more than 2 nights in a row .. he gets used to it . lol) ... I mentioned needing to defrost a whole chicken I had in the freezer so I cook roast it . and she said .. OH NO .. put it in the crockpot FROZEN .. let it go on low all day .. and it's perfect when you get home. I figure tonight I'll either have a perfect whole cooked chicken .. or really good shredded chicken that I have to pull the carcas out of . lol.
Mo, I bet it works great with the frozen chicken. I swear I miss my old crockpots. They could go all day and not overcook the food. Now they are too good and they tend to overcook the food. I find starting with frozen meat or using ice cubes for my fluid help. And keeping it on low.
Let us know how it comes out.
1. Thats I got in and out of the Dr office ( Lab work) in under 30 minutes so I didn't have to pay
for parking LOL
And good morning Darla…
Yay for free parking!
2. For another awesome Pilates class last night : and I did the move again that

yep stay with the group… don’t wander off. I wish I could go. I can’t. have fun.

Angie my soul sister I have not met yet…
You ask any question you like. I’m learning from them too! Besides the only questions that are dumb are the ones not asked. You know that.
I wish you guys would wait for me to post. It takes me so long to answer everyone I have to go back again and check.
Ok now for me.
This morning brian was a butthead. He’s having his venous Doppler at 10 and being a big baby about it. Ugh. I give him ONE test and he whines like a 10 year old boy.
Tomorrow is a killer day for me. I think I’’m overdoing it tomorrow.
Another 10 hour day for me. Working hard on updating
www.ethnicchicken.com and loving that site. Noticing that Harley is TALLER yet again this morning. HAHAHA he’s going to be the size of a small cow by the time he’s done.
Hannah is feeling better too…
Girl child is having a sleepover party this weekend. Yesterday she cleaned the kitchen floor. Did a good job.
This morning I had a new kind of greek yogurt (begins with a C I got it at BJs in a pink and white container) it was VERY GOOD….
I forgot my TVP today.
Oh well… off to work…
