Well, on Friday I had my 10 month check up with Dr. A he said 133 pounds lost is good but would like to see me lose the other 27 to which will be my goal weight by the end of May that only gives me two months and I don't think it will happen.  I can't imagine losing another 27 pounds because I have no butt now!! Yes, no butt I never thought I would ever say I had no butt but I do not.  Thank god I still have some boobs!! He also does not know why I have Orthostatic Hypotension he said usually if patients have this problem they up their fluid and it helps but that is not me. I also saw the Neurologist on Friday as well and I am off for another Brain MRI and a spine scan as I my one foot and bottom of my leg is numb and I am having trouble walking a little so he wants to make sure that I don't have some neurological disease setting in.  I will keep everyone posted on what if anything they find out.

Good luck with the MRI and neuro... keep us posted!

Terri, Congrats on the weight loss - That is terrific! As far as the goal weight is concerned, I think that is whatever you feel comfortable with. I do not feel that the age/height and/or BMI charts take into consideration all of the factors for each individual. Go as far as you feel comfortable and happy and healthy.

Wishing all good thoughts for the other tests!

OY VEY to your medical problems and F**KIN A to your weight loss - Terri, your weight losso has been awesome.  Glad about your boobs though I am NOT going to get to Dr. Singh's goal unless a plastic surgeon chops off the 2 saddlebags I have hanging off my butt!  Would I love to weigh 135 - YES - but just can't imagine losing 40 more lbs.  My goal is 145 - and Dr. S knows it!!!
Peace
E

Conrats on 133 pounds in 10 months that's awesome.  I can't imagine that you could continue to lose 13.5 pounds per month but if you did that would be 27 pounds...

I hope the medical problems are resolved quickly.

Way to go Theresa, can't wait to see what your looking like these days!!!  I go see Dr. A this coming friday for my 6 month check up and I'm supposed to have lost 100 lbs. right now I'm sitting at 91, and DOUBT I will get the extra 9 in by Friday....but you know what...I'm great with what I've done, I feel good and I'm pleased even if he won't be.  Like the others said YOU have to be happy with yourself not necessarily the Dr.

Hope all your other tests come bac****eep us posted.

I am way proud of you honey........although our surgeons would LIKE to see us make the goals........we really have to let our bodies make that decision because we're doing all we can do to get there even with out limitations. I know if I never lost another pound, I'm still exstatic about my weightloss (provided i don't gain any back LOL).  Keep up the great work honey!  *HUGE BEAR HUGS*
