My paperwork is being submitted!
Wish me luck! I just had my final nutrition counseling. She is going to submit my paperwork to the doctors office who will get it to Cigna. My nutrionist thinks if all goes well that I may be having surgery around mid May. Now I just wish I had more support from my friends and family. I know they are just concerned about me...but I really just need positive support right now.
Congratulations I hope you get approved asap. I am sorry you dont have great support but I do understand their worry. I will support you in any way possible as will alot of others on this board. Good luck and mayy things be speedy for you getting your final approval...

Good luck!! This for me was one of the hardest things! I am sooo impatient, and even though this took just over a week - it felt like a year!
Most of my family backed my decision - some even pushed me into making it and following through. My husband held out and wasn't in favor, even now I am not sure he thinks I made the right decision, but he has never told me that... Since the day of surgery he has been nothing but supportive, and even in the hospital when things got painful, etc. he never said "I told you so!" so there is hope for him.
I bet your family come around!!

As far as support, by all means, come HERE for support. Of course your family and friends are concerned, but I'm sure part of their worry comes from not knowing anything about the process. It can be daunting for those not familiar with it.

you go girl hope mine will be right behind you i have a class tonight and 4 more sleep test on 15th and nut doc then vanguri on the 7th of may so i probably wont be till june but hey what a trip ayy
