So how'd everyone do eating over the last couple of days?  I've noticed that Cabot, the cheese people, also make Greek yogurt - although I only saw the "with fruit" kind on the shelves for now.  It seems more and more people are jumping on the Greek yogurt fishing boat!

Friday:

B - Cheese

L - Greek shrimp salad

S - almonds

D - 2 TB Meximelts

All my fluids, all my vits!!!

Friday

B:  3/4 chicken salad wrap

L: spinach pie and greek salad from the diner

D: 1/2 Applebee's sirloin steak, few pieces of broccoli, 1/4 baked potato (1st time trying a baked potato since surgery....oh boy was it goooood!)

S:  an apple

Saturday

B:  1/2 piece rye toast topped with an over easy egg, 1/2 piece cheese and last night's steak chopped and tossed in A1

L:  cheese quesadilla made with 1 TJ's whole grain tortilla, 1/4 cup shredded cheese, 2 Tbsp salsa and 2 Tbsp Fage yogurt

D:  crockpot beef and vegetables

S: caramel corn rice cake topped with 1/4 cup butter pecan ice cream, banana slices and SF caramel

Sunday

B:  1/2 piece rye toast w/ smart balance, 1 scrambled egg, 1 slice cheese, 1 oz. deli ham, a few apple slices

L:  8 pieces of different sushi rolls (dragon, california, spicy tuna)......I was BUSTING and should have stopped at 6 pieces =)

S: kid's size coldstone sinless cake batter ice cream w/ strawberries

S: shoved a few pretzel sticks in my mouth to try and fix a "low sugar" episode........i got dizzy, lightheaded and clammy......i think it was because i hadn't eaten in over 7 hours......we were running around all day......yikes!

D: (at 9 p.m.!!) Outback.....3 oz. sirloin, a few spoonfulls of sweet potato and a few pieces of broccoli, 1 piece of the Alice Springs Chicken Quesadilla

Hey Lauren!!!

To fix that clammy low sugar episode, it's protein your body needs.  A spoonful or two of pb probably would've made you feel a lot better!!!

Try to remember to carry a protein bar or some other high protein snack with you so we don't have to post that you're in the hospital!!!!!

Let's see if I can remember:

Friday:

B - Greek Yogurt protein shake

L - it. sausage, onions, tomatoes

D - it. sausage, onions, tomatoes
       tiny slice carrot cake

Saturday:

B - greek yogurt protein shake

L - turkey bacon and salad

D - bacon wrapped shrimp...took the bacon off most of the shrimp

LNS - skim milk w/splenda

Sunday:

B - protein pancake, s/f maple syrup

L - mexican casserole

D - protein shake

S - tiny slice of carrot cake (IT'S FINALLY GONE!!)

LNS - skim milk w/splenda

NEXT!!!!

You all are making me hungry!!  My weekend consisted of...

Apple Sauce
Farina (Cream of wheat to some of the world, not sure about here... my mom brought me it as a gift LOL)
Cottage Cheese
Chicken Salad
SF Popsicles

and then I did it all over agan! :)  But I haven't been HUNGRY until right now when I realized I forgot to eat my yogurt for snack when I got here today... I missed these guys!  So now I am having apple sauce!

Oh... I did try pureed beef last night and that didn't work so great, I couldn't eat more than about 1 1/2 oz. before I felt FULL... but I am not complaining!

Not yet there with fluids, I should make it today, I am working on 32 right now... being at work means I always have a drink on my desk though so it makes it easy to remember to drink! 

Vites I think I am getting them all in - Taking Bariatic Fusion, so don't have to add calcuim, but not quite sure about iron, so will find out on Wednesday.

L -  salad w/blackened shrimp (Cheeseburger in Paradise)

S - Matzo cracker w/ 2 slices amer. cheese (Not Jewish, but luuuuv theese crackers!)

D - Garlic shrimp & veggies

B - 2 pieces turkey bologna rolled up
L - Grilled chicken tender w/ bbq sauce, steamed broccoli
S - 2 oz Cheese
D - Ruby Tuesday 1/2 of a 7 oz sirloin with mashed cauliflower and a few bites of broccoli.

Saturday:

B - Oatmeal w/ honey and a piece of scrapple
L - late breakfast and early dinner
D - Other half of Friday's dinner
S - 1 Chocolate chip cookie

Sunday:

B - Body Fortress protein shake
L - Cream of crab soup
D - Steamed shrimp and veggies (corn on the cob, brocc, cauli, carrots, potato)
