I am SO sorry you have to go through this.  I'm glad that you have a supportive work environment - I KNOW you need that job, but you won't be able to do it if you don't take care of yourself, so do that, please!!!

There were no drunken boob shots to send you on Saturday night - sorry!!!  LOL!!!

You know the drill!!  Whatever you need, just call.  And make sure you keep me updated.

Greetings All,

This may be my only post today. I have soooo much to do it is not funny. I definitely planned more weekend than there was time to get it all done. So my focus is work right now. I am pretty stressed and not even sure if I will be able to go to NY after all. I have the ticket. I will have to see how the rest of the week goes.

Tia - Yes, had not problem getting home - thanks! Good luck at the podiatrist. Your feet have to be feeling good before NY!!!!!!

Ren - Thanks so much for organizing Sat. night. It was a great time and great company. It was great seeing/meeting everyone!

Angie - I echo the wish that you be kind to yourself today back at work. I hope all goes well.

Darla, I am glad you got out and salvaged some of your weekend.

Aaron - Still hoping and praying you get better soon.

Today, I am keeping it simple.

1, 2, 3 - My friends, family, and life.

Hi Julie!!! Kudos to you for exercising restraint!!!  Keep in mind, though, that good, lean protein will help keep you full longer than even fibrous veggies.  If you have wls, that'll be your Bible - protein first, then veggies (if there's any room).

I'm glad you got to enjoy camping!!  I'm sure the cold rain didn't help your knees.  Wls will also help that!!

Have a great day!

Tia

Morning all...what the heck was up with the weather it was bordering on hot early in the day.  I napped for a bit and woke up to cold air blowing in my open windows.  Mike was out on the bike and encountered rain and hail on the way home but none of that reached our house.  Weird!

Prayers are still coming up for Jilly and Aaron (get thee to the doctor!!!)

Today, I'm grateful...

1.  For a good time on Saturday night.  Thank you Ren for organizing.  The band was great and one of my favorite things to do is to listen to (and sing along with) live bands...even though I don't really like dancing.  Watching other people dance is much more fun!  I agree that it was much too loud...even shouting directly into each others ears didn't work all the time!  But, it was great to help Tia celebrate her b'day, to see Debbie and Ren, and to meet Nessa, Kelly, Diana_N, her SIL, and Pete.  It was worth the hour drive!!

2.  That NYC is THIS SATURDAY!!!  I can't wait!!

3.  That getting out of the house Saturday night seemed to energize me.  I was up and doing housework and cooking for the week yesterday.  My goal every Sunday is to do that but sometimes (most of the time) it's hard to get motivated.  I need to get out more!

Have a great day everyone!!

Boxer -Thank you again, honey, for making the drive!!!  It's always good to see you!!!  And I'm soooo looking forward to Saturday!!  WOO-HOO!!!

Don't you just feel better when you can get some things done for the week?  Especially given your hellish commute.  Even if I just buy a roasted chicken and cut it up - it's SOMETHING.  Here's to you not being a homebody anymore!!!

(((( Tia )))

Just a quick good morning here~~~~   Hippo Belated Birdie to you!!!   Hugs & smoochies.

Thought of you yesterday, we headed to Fallston REALLLLLLLLLLLLY early .. so early that we were done with what we went up there for by 9 a.m-ish.   We came back down by White Marsh Mall and I walked and walked and walked some more in the mall to occupy myself before the stores opened.   Then we went to IKEA (spent $$$$) and then to Best Buy (spent even more $$$$$$) ... when we left White Marsh we agreed that it was a dangerous place for us in terms of spending!   Might not be back for a while .. lol.   It was funny though, because I expected that I might very well run into someone I knew, but instead Mr Mo ran into someone he knew .. and for a change it wasn't a woman giving him a big hug!!!   I tease him all the time about that ..

My usual 3 ...

Happy with who I am

Have a good job and stable life

That I can enjoy my life and get out and DO !!!

Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Hey Moie!!!

Thanks for popping by!!!  Missing you!!!!  I had a LOVELY bday, thanks!!!

I LOVE WM - actually I love the Avenue, too - Ulta seems to be my current drug of choice!!

My brother bid on and got a route in Middle River - not our street, but he'll be able to use it as his PCS.  However, I think he's rethinking - he's heard horror stories about MR!!!!  Sometimes, change sucks, but he can't unring the bell, and I've been urging him to give it a chance.  If you hear anything reliable, let me know!!

Hugs,

T

today i am grateful for:
1. my husband- he has been working really strange hours the last 2 weeks and i have hardly seen him. This weekend was the mens retreat at our church so after the lesson on Saturday he told our pastor he had to leave to spend time with his wife because he has not seen me and needed to take me on a date! wow without me saying a word about needing time together he took care of it and we did go on a date and then he read a chapter in the marriage book we started and we just sat there and asked and answered some of the questions. a very nice evening together!

2. my children- 3 beautiful girls. even though the 18 year old drives me a little crazy most of the time she is a great girl.

3. my God - how he has worked the not so nice things in my life that i didn't think i could crawl out from and turned them into great things that have built me up.
