MONDAY'S MID-DAY FLUID CHECK

So.....how much have you had to drink today?

Me:

40 oz. coffee
80 oz. water with my beloved apple drink mix

NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!

32 ounce diet lemonade
16 ounces sobe apple/pear

coffee w/fat free half and half  poured 30 oz drank about 15
crystal light apple/water  32 oz
crsytal light cranberry/water almost done my next 32 oz

You guys are kicking my butt in fluids today - and I really thought I was doing good!!!

8oz water with pills before breakfast
24 oz hot decaf tea with sweet n low.

But I need some of this beloved apple drink mix.... what and where can I find it???

You ARE doing good, considering you're such a new post-op!!  Don't worry....and DON'T compare what you're eating, drinking or losing to ANYONE else - it's a surefire way to make yourself nuts!!!

The apple drink mix I'm talking about is the Walmart (Great Value) version of Crystal Light.  Unfortunately, I've only found it in Super Walmarts - I think there's one near you or in Shrewsbury?

Sipping on tomato juice now... went to the bank and 7-11... stood in front of the cooler forever before buying it, gotta get some more drink mixes!  I have tea here, but it isn't decaf - so no go... gonna have to raid the cupboard at home or take the time to go into a real store tonight!

I haven't seen apple flavored!  We have a Super Walmart, but their selection royally sucks for sugar free drink mixes unless you buy the single serve packets...

I do like the single serve packets from Wylers - I get them at Walgreens for $1 for a box of 8... Cheap and decent!   Now I will have to find a Super Walmart... The one out on Rt 40 is just a regular one, I think... anyone know?

Not sure how much sugar (if any) is in tomato juice, so just be careful.

If you're talking about the Walmart on Route 40 in Aberdeen, it's a Super.  There's also one at York/Frankel Roads in ****eysville - that's where I got my stash!!!

Hmm... Rte 40 is Catonsville I think... I am not a Marylander at heart... I just transplanted here for a few years before we moved North to commute down, so where what is usually goes above what I know!

I do know where ****eysville is!  I haven't been to their Walmart though!

Well I just realized my tomato juice is V8 (didn't drink it yet...) but there are 15 carbs in a bottle, and I will drink half or less I guess...  Not supposed to do more than a cup of it daily - have been using "mini" cans at home that have just 5.5 oz at home, so I suppose 6 oz is safe!

the one at rolling and 40 is NOT a super walmart and the prices are higher.

I have only been in there ONCE and that was enough for me... It was uncontrolled chaos with items strewn all over the store in the aisles, etc.  But was going to brave it for apple drinks! LOL
