I'm so glad you had a wonderful birthday, you deserve it!!  I will def keep you posted on the progress of my submission and hopefully my approval!

I keep reminding myself that being busy at work is a wonderful thing right now cause for now that means job security!

Hunter is doing really well again.  Hopefully he stays that way.

I'm glad you had a great birthday Tia. You definitely deserve to be showered with love.  Now on to the healthy stuff!

Deb rest is a good thing. I've been out late the last two nights and it has definitely taken its toll on me.  Hopefully we'll all keep our jobs, I know it is really scary out there right now wondering if we're next.

Darla did you say something?? WHAT?!?!?.... Glad to "hear" your Dad is getting hearing aids! Good for the three of you!  Glad you had a good bowling night by winning 3 outta 4 games.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday.  Tell Aunt Flo to go home, she is not a welcome visitor this month!  She's such a pain! LoL

Today, I am grateful for:

1. My job, not sure how secure my position is but I'm happy to be here today.

2. My weekend plans and seeing some of my favorite people!

3.  Piggy banks!  I robbed mine last night and went to a quarter auction.

Rain is a good thing! I'm looking forward to the beautiful colors of spring flowers blooming all over the place!

Morning Ren!!!

Amen on the healthy stuff!!!  I'm already well prepared for the day!!!

So, how'd you make out on the quarter auction?

How's Rachie making out in her new place?  I know you miss her!!  But....do you MISS fluffers all over your floor??? LOL!!!

I got an email from S/F Candy, she's back in town but slammed at work.  She's gonna try to get on tonight and catch up.  I told her we missed her!!

Have a good day!!

Morning all,

Tia - I'm glad you had a GREAT birthday...that's the way the SHOULD be!!  I'm with ya on the salad. Once I started eating them, I want them all the time!

Deb - I'm right there with ya on going to bed early.  Got a solid 7.5 hours last night and don't feel totally exhausted this morning.

Darla - congrats on your games and my that Aunt Flo sure loves to visit you...tell her to go away!!

Ren - phew...I must be getting old!  I just can't hang late on "school nights".

Today I'm grateful...

1.  That traffic wasn't TOO terrible with the rain this morning and that there were still parking spots when I got here.  After 9 is extremely iffy at the Washington Navy Yard.

2.  For sales.  I stopped by Old Navy last night on the way home because I'm VERY low on business casual slacks to wear to work.  Found a pair of brown pants for $10...love it!!

3.  All of my friends here on the board.  It just wouldn't be a complete day if I couldn't get on here with all of you!

Have a good rainy gray day everyone!

Hey girlie!!!  Yep, all of you made turning 42 really wonderful!!!  MUAH!!!

So.....how was Rioboy's little celebration?  I'm sure he loved the gummabones!!!

Traffic for me was a little nuts - someone on the radio said, "Well, it IS Thursday..." I don't know why Thursday would make a difference!!!

Very cool on the pants!!!!  You can't beat $10 with a gummabone!!!  LOL!!

I always look forward to reading your posts!!!  Almost peeing my pants with excitement at the thought that NYC is getting closer!!  LOL!!

Hugs,

T

I got two large gummabones and 2 small ones.   I figured Rio and Jake would get the big ones since they gnaw on them the most, and that I would give the smaller ones to Brie and Bruce.  First Jake wanted them all to himself.  Then Rio and Jake decided to start with the smaller ones.  Brie and Bruce were only mildly interested.  They were all VERY INTERESTED in cake, cake, and more cake.  Too funny!

H

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!  How sweet!!! Life is good when you're surrounded by loving doggies!!!

Yeah, friends are cool, too, but doggies - they're DA BOMB!!!!

BTW, Happy's card was "from the dog" of course, and said, "To the most bone-worthy human I know! Wanna share?" and Mom drew pawprints inside!!!  LMAO!!

Today I'm grateful for:

1.  My dad is okay.  He has a bad hemotoma from the seat belt, but is otherwise unscathed!

2.  For all of you-   yesterday was really hard and your well wishes and knowing you were here for me really helped me.  :)

3.  That tomorrow is Friday.  I'm exhausted today and really wish I got to sleep in tomorrow!

Jenn -

Thank God your Dad's okay.  I can relate to your panicked feelings.  Whatever you need.....

Of course you're exhausted - yesterday was a rotten day for you - mental exhaustion is almost worse than the physical.

Try to rest up and take good care of yourself this weekend!!

Hugs,

Tia

Tia- Happy Belated Birthday.  That is really a belssing to make it another year.  Many, many more to you.

Today I am grateful:

That I woke up and was able to still take care of myself and child.

That I have a job to come to every day ( except Saturday and Sunday)

That I can come on OH and see the threads that come through all of the time.

That I can jump into a conversation at any given time and you all always make me feel welcomed.

That I have a wonderful support group both here on OH and around me all of the time.

Many Hugs to you all!! Have a great day!!!

Whom ever said that people who have WLS are taking the easy way out, have never had this experience.  This is a journey and a major challenge.  Step by step I am striving to make it as a loser!!
