off subject but...

My mom taught me to crochet when i was pregnant with my son.  She taught me how to knit too, but i didn't like it.  A friend of mine from Luxembourg came to visit and taught me the combination method of knitting, now i'm hooked!!!

My husband bought me an Ashford Traveller double drive.  I've used it some, but like I said, we just can't seem to understand each other.  I'm sure she thinks it's all me...

i learned how to spin on a drop spindle if you would like i could give you one and you could try with that.

I have one.  LOL  My friend from Lux bought me a really pretty drop spindle.  I think the wheel is easier.  I really just need to spend some more time practicing.   I don't devote much time to practicing.  (I have way too many hobbies!)

much easier on the wheel and goes so much faster. i love spinning i can sit for hours spinning all the pretty colorsways...lol it only takes a few hours of spinning for it to finally click. just keep practicing . come to the festival adn buy some pretty fiber:)

Pretty fiber would get me into it more.  I have all plain white fiber.  :(
