"  Dr. Michael Clisham - My foot doctor!!  Right now, because I'm feeling no pain, this man is a GOD!!!!!  LOL!!!  He was so happy to see me yesterday - I hadn't needed to see him in about 10 years, and he took care of me right away with a pain-free cortisone shot and sent me off to buy Spenco shoe inserts.  I need to see him next week, but this a.m. - NO PAIN!!  Cross your fingers!!"

Good Morning!!!

What's up with this weather? I had to wear leather this morning. NOT that wearing leather is a bad thing at all.. was just surprised by the temperature.

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  My mom. For many reasons, but today specifically for her generosity. She purchased a brand new vehicle and gave me her other car instead of trading it in.  Thanks Mom!

2.  RNY... I was having sugar issues.  My addiction was taunting me and teasing me... allowing me to partake. Of course, one taste is never enough when there is MORE MORE MORE!  Sugar issues meaning that it wasn't affecting me anymore.  The table turned on me last night after some ice cream that was NOT NSA.  I immediately went to bed with a belly ache and a jittery stomach.  All I can say is.... THANKS FOR KICKING BACK IN AND REACTING TO SUGAR THE WAY I THOUGHT YOU ALWAYS WOULD.  That will keep me off of sugar... at least for awhile.  I'm very thankful for this tool.

3.  This week's Relay for Life Event.  I will get to see quite a few OH'ers at the bowling alley in Dundalk on Sunday and I'm really looking forward to it.  I have truly enjoyed the times we've gotten together.  When I leave fellow OH'ers, I feel so connected and high on life for days!!

I hope everyone has a great week.

Morning Ren!!

Glad you got everything straightened out with the car!!!  That was incredibly generous of your Mom!!

Isn't the tool a wonderful thing??  I LOVE the butt-kicking it delivers sometimes!!

Still not sure about bowling, but I'll let you know in enough time.

Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

T

I can't talk long today. I am SO behind at work and I really need to buckle down today. I am glad for the relief, progress I read in the posts. Best wishes to all!

Today I am grateful for...

1 - RELIEF! While my jaw is still swollen, the antibiotics and pain meds are working and I am feeling much better. I got my first decent night's sleep in many days last night. The work I need to have done is scheduled for May. Think 3 hours and $$$$$! But it needs to be done. Hopefully it will prevent another recurrence of this past weekend!

2 - The obvious vibes of confidence and accomplishment coming from Darla last night as we spoke before Pilates class. I think this new MD she went to see is a major accomplishment. Congrats, Darla!

3 - A beautiful day, even if it is chilly. I have my sweater on and am drinking hot tea. All is well with the world!

Have a super day!

Morning Deb:

Glad the meds are helping - and that you got some sleep.

Yes I do have confidence in the new Dr:  just wish he was a PCP rather then a specialist!!!

Next step is to find a new PCP and take that leap !!!

Oooooh, Deb, I feel your pain, honey!!!  WTH is going to take 3 hours?  YIKES!!!

I'm equally glad Darla saw this specialist.  Hopefully, the end of these issues is in sight!

You have a good day, too!

Hugs,

Tia

There are a couple of things all on the same side. So they are going to do it all at once. There will be an extraction (the source of my pain), a temp bridge ****il the healing is done and the perm bridge is placed, and repair to another tooth, not sure if just a crown or if a root canal will also be needed. Even though I go to the dentist regularly, i have one of these mouths that is vulnerable to everything. I know you know what I am talking about since you have gone through so much in this department yourself!
