Good Morning Maryland.....Or At Least I Hope Yours Is!

Good Morning All!
Have you ever woke up feeling like " Today isnt gonna be good"??????
Well, I am there!
The knee I had surgery on in january, has kept me up ALL night! Ice packs, pain pills, and muscle relaxers all nite!!!! I am soooo tired now! I am not sure why the knee is sooo painful..... it hasnt hurt like this in about a month......ok well, maybe it had something to do with yesterday was the first day I wore heels since surgery.......LOL......but dang it, they looked cute! I guess we pay for our mistakes, huh?
My 16 year old had pnuemonia, and I thought she was over it. As I sat up with my friend the ice pack last night, I listened to her cough all night! It was one of those nasty, make you wanna gag coughs......so I guess, I need to take her back to the doctor.
My rottie, Nikita, is 12 years old......when we adopted her, she had a broken back that had never been treated. She has arthritis pretty bad & alot of nerve damage. She has been doing great, but the last couple of weeks she has been having some problems. The vet said its to be expected. Well, last nite, she laid beside me......... she started howling in pain about 3 this morning. She tried to get on the couch, and couldnt even pull her body weight. I called the vet, so she is going in later. She is my heart....... I am waiting for the vet to say "its time to end her pain", and I will LOOSE IT!!!!!!
I went out to take my 13 year old to school, and the check engine light was on in my truck! When I was driving, there was this NOISE that I am pretty dang sure shouldnt be there.......
I am guessing today, isnt going to be my day! But hey, at least I am breathing....... I hoep everyone else has a great day!

Good morning to you. Take a deep breathe and count to ten then say a quick prayer. I am so sorry about your knee my friend just had that done and I have seen her pain. I hope your 16 year old gets to the doc maybe they need a different med. I pray for her. I am so sad to hear about your Nikita I have 4 dogs and they mean the world to me too. I hope the vet can help her. I will keep her in  my thoughts as well. I know how hard it is when a decision has to be made to end our loved ones lives. I am sure you know and you baby will let you know when its time. I hope nothing major is wrong with your truck. I say cars are nice but horse and buggy always last longer....I hope your day gets better and take care of you too. It sounds like everyone will be needing your help for a while.. Dont 4 get to smile remember things can always be worse....
Sounds like you need a group hug!!!!!! I hope we all can give you one but for now I will....

I'm so sorry your knee and your heart are in pain.  I hope they can resolve your knee pain, because after wls, you won't be able to take most anti-inflammatories as they can cause ulcers.  Heels are lovely to look at, but most foot doctors (and orthos) will tell you that they're SOOOO bad for you!!  Get yourself a cute pair of flip-flops, instead!!!

I've heard that the pneumonia barking dog cough will linger long past the actual cold, etc.

I know your heart is aching over Nikita, but I also know that you'll make the right decision if it comes down to it.  It's agonizing to watch them be in pain, I know you feel so helpless.  Let me know if I can do anything for you sweetie.

when it rains it pours Heather.

Bagel was my newf mix.  I had to put him down in September last year due to herniated discs in his neck.  it's not easy.  he was only 8.  I'm sorry your pup is suffering.

Sounds like that black cloud that's been hanging over me in Grasonville has spread up to your neck of the woods a bit.  ICK...sorry!
