bread
I guess the guidelines provided by each surgeon's team is different. When I went through the program, I was advised not to try bread until I was at least 6 mos. post-op. In addition, the priority for each day is protein, vegetables, and fruit, in that order, that leaves very little room for the other stuff like bread. Personally, I would stay away from bread and carbs like that for as long as you can. I think it complicates the eating. I found once I tried these things, I craved them more. Just something to consider.
Hello I don't know much since I have not had the surgery but from all I see on the board alot of people try to avoid many carbs. I would follow your docs recommendations.... You can do this.....

It took me a while to be able to tolerate bread. Especially since by the time I make sure I have my protein, I really don't have any space for bread.
Give yourself a few months and then start trying different things. I'd stay away from white bread still. Multigrain stuffis better. I make myself breakfast sandwiches on Arnold multigrain sandwich thins with an egg and sausage. I can only eat half when I eat the bread so I have to make that choice everytime.
