My mom had surgery the same day as you. She told me this weekend that it doesn't matter what she eats, she still loses weight. I tried to explain to her that she's in the "honeymoon" stage and that this is the time to train herself to make healthy choices. She refuses to change her diet. I'm worried that if i don't learn to make the right choices, I'm going to have wasted my time having the surgery. I really hope that doesn't happen for her. She will tell me what she's eating and ask me if I think she's doing okay. Then she gets mad when I tell her that her choices weren't the best. I told her that if she doesn't want to take my advice, she needs to not ask me my opinion! Like i'm supposed to tell her that a meal of onion rings is fine. I KNOW she's eating less of them, but there's no protein and they are fried!!!

B- Chicken Plank from (Long John Silvers)
L- Bean & Ham soup and crabcake with tomatoes
D- 1/2 small CSTK (PJ)
Saturday-
L- Chicken with cheese, bacon, and tomato
D- Fried pickles and 1 mini cheeseburger (Hooters)
Sunday-
L- 1/2 mexican pizza (TB)
D- Greek Salad, Pastitio
All vitamins and fluids
B- Chicken Plank from (Long John Silvers)
L- Bean & Ham soup and crabcake with tomatoes
D- 1/2 small CSTK (PJ)
Saturday-
L- Chicken with cheese, bacon, and tomato
D- Fried pickles and 1 mini cheeseburger (Hooters)
Sunday-
L- 1/2 mexican pizza (TB)
D- Greek Salad, Pastitio
All vitamins and fluids
Friday
B - tuna melt wrap (tuna, slice of cheese, old bay in a TJ's whole grain tortilla)
L - chicken caeser salad from the diner
D- shrimp and artichoke scampi (minus the pasta), garden salad
S - coldstone sinless cake batter ice cream with coconut and almonds (my new favorite!!)
Saturday
B - 3 strips center cut bacon, 1 egg, 1 slice cheese, 2 strawberries, a few grapes
L - (was at a baby shower) almonds, 1 cracker w/ crab dip, salad w/ ranch dressing, 1 meatball, spoonful of pulled pork, 1 devilled egg, wedge of brie cheese
D - (bertucci's with the family) picked at the antipasto platter, 1 slice lestina pizza
S - another slice of pizza......then the rest went in the trash!
Sunday
B - BLT wrap with light mayo and a slice of cheese
L- slice of cheese pizza
S - yogurt, fruit salad, almonds
D- TJ's chili lime chicken burger topped with 1/4 avocado, salsa, 1/2 oz. cheddar cheese
S - Jello SF rice pudding
