Finally after 3+ yrs post RNY....

I can drink Diet Coke (canned)!!

I can't do fountain soda as it tends to be more carbonated. 

Some other sodas are too carbonated for me too (unless diluted with water or ice) but then the taste suffers.

Can't do the sugared sodas as I get deathly ill from the sugar.  I'm glad for this intolerance although some days I'd just love to have a regular  coke or mt. dew :(  I have taken sips of hubby's at least :)

i can drink soda as long as i pour it over ice. and i actually fair better w/ fountain soda, which seemed less carbonated to me. it's nice to have a treat every now and then. i'm still trying to convince myself of that. every NOW and THEN.

That was the one thing I could not give up after surgery, my coke zeros! I have an addiction to carbonation.
