Well Honey congratulations. I will keep you in my prayers.. Let me know how things go..I am not sure about your liquids. I dont really know the answer to your question. Maybe you could call your Doc to be sure. I know when I have had other surgeries I froze sprite, Ginger Ale and apple juice. I also drank Crystal Light in orange, Bannana Pineapple, and Green Tea. I am not sure if you could have Hawaiian Punch since its red. I am not an expert but I am telling you from my experince. Be sur e to have someone post about how you are doing....I am sending you a special .....Keep her handy....

I can't remember being on a liquid diet before the surgery but right ater surgery, even the hospital brought me lime and strawberry jello. I think all jello is see through :-) You just have to make sure it's sugar free. And, Wlalmart sells 2 dozen sugar free popsicles in a container for pretty cheap. I lived off of those the first few days.

I don't think they really mean "clear" liquid.. do they?  Any of the liquids that are okay right after surgery should be okay right before surgery I would think.  I'm not a doctor though.....

clear liquids means stuff with nothing in it

broth
jello  (NOT PUDDING)
ice pops (NOT with MILK)
water
apple juice but NOT orange juice

think about holding up the glass and if you can see through it then it's ok.
