I'm going to get the lap band.  You are further along than I am.  I don't have an approval yet.  How wonderful for you not to have to go through six months with the NUT.  I'm going to my second NUT appointment on Monday with four more to go.  I'll probably get the surgery sometime during the summer.  Despite the wait, I'm very excited about getting the surgery and I'm willing to follow the process in order to be approved.  I just may learn something important to help me during my weight loss journey.

I had my VGS with Dr. Li on 1/30/09. She is great surgeon and a wonderful person. Sinai is a great hospital (not to say other hospitals are not) but I had both my Band (May 2005) and my Sleeve here. Both went well.
