TWILIGHTERS?!?!?!?!?!?!

Are there any TWILIGHTERS here? Anyone going to a DVD release party tonight? Anyone going to their local Walmart at Midnight to get their hands on a copy?
A local grocer here, ACCIDENTLY put it out for sale on Tuesday! My BFF told me today......of course she didnt think about me when she bought her copy! LOL! But we are taking our daughhters & friends....... THERE ARE 7 GIRLS..... to a release party at Borders!
If anyone else braves one of these, let me know!

PS...... You gotta love those Cullen Boys! NEW MOON, the movie, comes out in October 2009!

 I loved the books, but the movie was horrible.  I hope the next movie is better made.  :o)

    You are sooooooo right! I LOVED the books, but I wasnt impressed with the movie. It seemed very low quality for something that was supposed to be this years BIG hit! But my daughters loved it, so I promised them a copy.......you know how that goes! I will have to say, people, even older people, are absolutely NUTS, I mean crazy NUTS, over this set of books & movie! You wouldnt believe it!

LOL!  I do understand. I teach 7th grade and my girls are so into it and couldnt wait for it to come out.  I cant imagine what it was like last night.  I see you survived though!  hehe

OMG!!!!!!!  You really didnt like it?  There are very few movies that impact me and make me want to watch them over and over and over again.  I LOVED it !!!!!!!  It kept me wanting more till the very end in a good way.  It reminded me of the first time i saw top gun, lol, and i went out and married one of those guys!  I dont think  i will find a vanpire though!

I HAVE NEVER WANTED TO BE A VAMPIRE SO BAD, LOL LOL

   Oh I LOVE the story, I just wasnt very impressed with the QUALITY of the film.....I just think if it had been a larger, more prominent production company, it may have been better. BUT I do give kudos to Summit......it saved them! The characters they chose, were good! I love Robert Patterson as Edward! Kristin Stewart as Bella! And the guy (forgot his name!!!) as Jacob! They are all awesome! I personally LOVED Emmit & James........ the actors who played them were absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!
I have been a fan of Anne Rice for years....... I have read all the Vampire Chronicles........so when my daughter told me about these books I had to read them! I feel in love with the characters in the first few chapters ofTwilight! They are a more modern, romantic series vs. Anne Rice.
And I agree........ who wouldnt want to be in Bella's shoes?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Hey Heather!!!

I'm just finishing up "New Moon."  I had told my niece that if she finished up "Twilight," we'd go see it at the 2nd run theater.  She didn't fini**** in time, but I think we're going to watch it on On Demand this coming weekend!! 

I haven't seen this kind of insanity for a movie since the last Harry Potter came out.  I'm looking forward to July 15, when the next Harry Potter movie comes out!!!
