Curious about trips.

Hello to all.. Since I am so new to this board I am curious about the trips you all take. Do you plan trips like the NY thing all year or just a spur of the moment? Are there trips all year long or just close by outtings? Will you go by bus to NY or will alot of you drive? If you plan another long trip I would like to go. Can a friend tag along or is this just for wls people and their families? Dont want to be nosy but I just wonder..

It depends on who has planned the trip and what their criteria is.

Thanks Ren. So individual people set up trips? Is that how it works? Where have you all been before and is there a special place to find out info about prices and stuff.

Anyone is welcome to come up with an idea for a trip, outing, get-together.  What we do then is post to see what kind of interest there is and then whomever came up with the idea organizes it.  That's a rule here:  You post it, you own it!!  LOL!!! 

With the NYC trip, I put a post out there, saw what kind of interest, and called bus companies for the best prices, then posted the details. 

Usually, we'll set the criteria - girls only, families, spouses, friends, all of the above.  It just varies from event to event.

Tia this trip sounds like a blast. I thought everyone drove. How nice to be together on a bus. I wish I could go. I have never been to the Toys R Us or that great Italian place. I will keep my eyes open and watch for other trips and gatherings. Is there any space let for NY? Thanks you seem to be right on top of this. Its alot of work I know...

i can't go unfortunately but you can if there are still seats available for those two buses the ladies are using. just follow the links in tia's email about the trip and book the seats.
