Fugly News
Just got a call from hubby who said his job let him go this morning. And it's not temporary.
Fortunately, my pickup truck is ready for the road.
So, I ask if you could please, let me know if you or someone else needs anything hauled, towed, cleaned out or moved, I'm sure we could cut you gals (and guys) a good deal on the moving services.
I may also have some furniture to sell - if anyone would be interested in an innerspring futon, etc.....but we'll sit down and figure stuff out this weekend, and go from there.
Thank you in advance for your help and prayers.

Hubby was working as a Lead QC Inspector in the machine shop - he has automotive background, although he has not kept his ASE certifications too current. He does have access to a shop if car work needs to be done such as front end alignments, timing belts, tune ups and wheel balancing and brakes.
He also builds racing transmissions on the side for the drag race cars so if you know anyone who races at Capital, Maryland International Raceway, 75-80 and Cecil County Dragway - those are the people he does transmissions for. This is his DREAM. He loves doing this, and is known as Doctor Speed. He's done this for many years on the side, and always wanted to become a full fledged transmission builder but money doesn't come easy in that kind of environment.
Prior to being an inspector, he worked for a temp agency for both MTA and WMATA rebuilding their rail cars so he has rail car experience as well.
His personality and ethic make him a great inspector, he doesn't tolerate mistakes, omissions
and errors that could affect the safety of the riders or the reputation of the company he works for. One job he was on, employees were placing heating coils too close to the surface that riders could have burned their legs on; and another one project, he was double checking on his own accord that the doors would shut on the WMATA railcars - I'm sure you guys heard about that stuff in the news with the doors failing to shut while the trains moved. He was so angry about that stuff that he asked to be sent down there to work, just so he could make sure they closed for the safety.
But for now - anything that will help pay the bills will help out alot.
I have a job but most of my paycheck goes to child support so I don't bring home enough money to pay rent or the mortgage. I rely on him to do that, and I pay the utilities and get the groceries; and thank goodness for the State's health insurance program, I have him on it already, and it's affordable to me.
