No I have never tried that diet. Have you and if so did you have any luck on it? I would love to learn more about it. I guess the library would have the books. Please send me the planner.. Thanks Nessa...

Julie in May 2006 I started South Beach Diet. 

I followed the plan for 2 1/2 years and lost nearly 80 pounds.  

IT WORKS....  

get a copy of the south beach book supercharged book.

(you can buy it at walmart)

Okay, but it still doesn't sound as if you're doing what she says.  You said a salad from Ledo's...what type of protein was in it?

Water with Crystal Light is still water....it's fine....it's what we all do.  It still counts.

Tia the salad was the grilled chicken. I thought that was enough protein. I hope it was anyway. I will look into it more with the nut. I am writing down questions to ask her.. I told her about the water and she got angry when I told her I use Crystal Light. I asked why she said it has to many chemicals... What the heck does she want...

Well, she's right.....the Crystal Light DOES have chemicals, but IMHO, it's really not any more processed/full of chemicals than fast food.

I guess the main thing is to try to follow as closely as possible, the guidelines she establishes.  There's also True Lem, True Lime and True Orange, additives with little to no chemicals.  They come in packets, too, and are usually in the same aisle as the Crystal Light, etc.

hmmm... i think the chemicals from the hair dye i use would be worse....  hahaha.

truth is I try to drink water.  I was always told water is better... but I can't. ya know. it just doesn't do it for me.

oh lunch was good... yummy leftovers.


now what do you do when you want sweets after your meal?
