ANGIE (AmusedOne) IS A LOSER!!!! UPDATED

Yeah! I finally got the call from her Mom. I was beginning to worry, because she was scheduled this morning. However, her Mom said they did not wind up taking her in until after Noon. The MD updated them just a short while ago that everything went well. She is in recovery now and will probably be there for an hour or so.

I will check in later to see how she is doing. I will pass along any more info I get.

Anyway, Congratulations, Angie! You are now officially a Loser!!!!!

UPDATE....

Here is the Thursday report - I just spoke to Angie. She is doing pretty good. The meds are making her feel a little loopy and tired. She wants to sleep but is having trouble doing it. She does not feel a lot of pain. She passed her swallow test and they just brought her some fluids. So she is starting to sip-sip-sip!  I passed on everyone's good wishes! She said she did not need anything and sounded like she was not up to company. So, the bottom line is that everything is moving along according to schedule. I would not be surprised if they sent her home tomorrow. Although she did not say that.

I just called patient information and Angie is not her in her room yet. I am thinking she may not be up for visitors tonight. I will check in again later. FYI
