Tia in response to #4, it annoys the crap out of me when people with less items then I do ask if they can get in front of me because they have less items as if their time is more valuable.

Amen, Mellie!!!  Although a sure-fire way to get in front of me is to have less items AND a screaming child!!!  That'll do it every time!!!  LOL!!!

I hate when I am next in line and they open up another register because it is taking so freakin' long. They say, "Next !" and the idiot at the back of the line runs to that register like they have been sitting in line forever. That chaps my hide I tell ya. I'm really a very nonconfrontational person and that makes me confrontational.

I'm sure there are more, but that's all I've got for now.

These are fun to read. Have a good, pet peeve-free day!

That happened yesterday, Denise!!  But the cashier was smart, she said, "in the same order you're in now, please!"  Ticks me off, too!!!

You have a good day, too!!

I spent 9 years working in a grocery store...through high school and college.  Anytime I opened up a new register I clearly stated that I would take the next person in line.  Just in case they didn't hear me, I would actually get that next person in line and bring them to the one I was opening.  That became common place in the Giant  that I worked in but I RARELY, if ever, see that these days!

Sorta going along with Candy's #21.  People who drive with their dogs unrestrained in the back of a pickup truck!!!!!!  How hard is it to attach a leash or harness to the bed of the truck?!?!?!

Heather, I wonder if those who have their dogs unrestrained in the truck bed are the ones that won't clip their nails or have them done professionally, and they hope that with their dogs sliding in the truck bed everytime they move the truck - would file their nails down?  I can see them screeeeching & scratching across the truckbed trying to maintain their balance.....
