What's everyone eating?  I ordered the cookbook that Jilly's Mike cooks from all the time, from Amazon.  Can't wait till it gets here!!!  I have some other wls cookbooks and so far, I'm not impressed, but.......wait.....maybe it's that Mikey is cooking for Jilly???  LOL!!!!

Anyway, yesterday:

B - Cheese

S - Almonds

L - Asian salmon salad

S - Power Crunch Bar

D - TJ's fish tacos with Greek yogurt and sour cream

S - NSA vanilla ice cream with melted pb

All my vits, all my fluids!!!

Next!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday:

B- 1/2 leftover mushroom & leek scramble with a 1/2 potato pancake with Guryere cheese

L- chicken parmesan & pasta w/ meatsauce & sausage

S- 2 pieces of cheese

D- chicken enchilada and refried beans

All vitamins & 60 oz liquids

ok yesterday:  (remember i'm pre-op by about 4 months)

b:  greek yogurt, banana, pecans
s: carrots and hummus
l: salad wth goat cheese and shrimp
s: popcorn
d:  carrots and hummus salad, greek chicken (chicken pasta, feta, onions, peppers olives spaghetti sauce)
s: fudge pop, nuts


wow i eat so much compared to you guys.

It will change, Nessa.  It will take time, and you're going to have to retrain your brain.  Pretty soon, your pouch is going to be boss.

You WILL, once you're healed, and once you get into the solid food phase, get the "I'm full" signal.  Trust me, going over that just once may be enough to cure you of overeating.

You're doing great on WHAT you eat.  I know you said you have a problem with how MUCH you eat, but your tool WILL help you change that over time.

Hang in there, sweetie!!!

B - Weight Control Oatmeal w/Skim Milk and raisins

S - Cheese stick

L - Spinach salad w/turkey and cheese

D - Greek yogurt and mandarin oranges

S - A few bites of pistachios

B-  An egg with bacon bits

Not enough fluids.  My whole day was off from the fasting bloodwork!  :(

a salad with feta.  i put too many onions in, the cucumbers were bitter and the romaine is starting to get grassy....  

so i ate my protein bar (think thin fudge brownie)  early...

Ick!!  Sorry about that, honey!!!

"They" say if you think you're hungry, wait 20 minutes, and if you still want the almonds, go for it - within reason.

Unless, of course, they're chocolate covered!!!!  LOL!!!
