3 THINGS FOR ST. PATTY'S DAY!!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. That traffic was soooooo light this a.m.!!! WOO-HOO!!!!
2. That I just rested last night. I about killed myself over the weekend trying to get an investigation done. It IS done, although there are several more waiting. I just needed a break last night. Happy and I dozed on the sofa until it was actually time to go to bed!!!
3. That there were enough girls wanting to play softball that my brother got a team. We weren't sure if there was enough interest this year, and Kaity wants to play so badly!! So.....he'll be head coach, I'll be scorekeeper and.....gulp.....assistant coach!! Keep in mind I know next to nothing about infield fly rules, etc. It's going to be...............interesting!!! Games will be Mondays and Wednesdays, so hopefully, I'll be able to get to Nicole's support group meetings.
Hope everyone has a great day!!! If you're going out to celebrate with some green beer, PLEASE remember to be safe and drink responsibly!! Whatever you do, don't drink and drive. Operation Shamrock is in full-on mode this a.m.!!!
Hugs,
Tia
2. I found me green to wear so I didnt have 8 curtain climbers pinching ME all day
3. I had atleast 4 hours sleep last night!! Phew! Thats a RECORD!!!
HAPPY ST JILLY'S DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MWAH!
C'mon, you LOVE being pinched, you know it!!!!
4 hours - cause you were FB'ing????? Jilly, that's not good!!!!
Have a green day!!
Hugs,
Tia
2. That my coffee was good, just the way I like it.
3. That i have my health and a good job, which is more than most these days.
Have a great St. Patty's Day everyone!!
I don't know how parents do it in the a.m. - I NEED my peace and quiet!!! Mom was up this a.m. before I left and wanted to carry on a full-blown conversation!!!! I'm SO not used to that!!!
Nothing like coffee that's RIGHT - When I go through DD drive-thru, I ALWAYS specifiy, "Stir it up, please!" because I hate not getting sweetness until the last gulp or two!!!
Have a wonderful day!!!
Hugs,
Tia
TODAY I am grateful for:
1. A full night of sleep without any dogs, or people coming home at 12:30 - 3:30 in the morning making those dogs bark and of course waking me up. I actually fell asleep on the sofa at 9:00 and went upstairs at 12:30 and continued sleeping peacefully.
2. The opportunity to spend some quality time with my boys this weekend, other than just the normal "hanging out" we're going to the Maryland Science Center. Now if I can keep them from killing each other, it will be a great day!
3. My Relay for Life Team Captain's Meeting tonight where I get to choose the site for our tent. We get to choose by the position our team is in as far as contributions collected. We're in the top 5 teams!!!
Have a great day!
Ren
Morning Sweet Ren!!!
I am SO with your #1 - living in a rowhome community, people tend to be forgetful, inconsiderate and just downright rude!!! I can sleep through barking dogs, but give me teenagers out at that time of night, skateboarding or dribbling basketballs, and I am SO awake!! GRRR!!!
Hopefully, the boys will be too into what's going on at the Science Center to worry about killing each other.
I haven't forgotten your team - I promise to contribute!!!
Hugs,
Tia
Good Morning Maryland
Tia: glad Gary got a team!!! ; hmmm Monday and Wednesdays - might have to try and get to a game!!!
Today I am grateful for:
1. That even though the scale is not moving
Toni pointed out that its time for new jeans ( can we say baggy butt !!!! LOL)
then yesterday a driver who apparently was last here six months ago saw
me in the drivers waiting room and said " Damn girl you are looking good.
You've lost weight since I was here last time- I unfortunately have not lost weight so it has to be the exercise.
2. That I have spent some time on the home puter and caught up the last couple months
church attendance records - I always swear I will collect the cards every week and
not let them stack up - but I don't. So this past week I spent a couple hours
on them and am almost done.
3. Thats its Tuesday so that means pool classes tonight.
So have a great day everyone
Today I'm grateful for:
1. I have now lost 51 lbs!
2. Tvp masquerading as granola! :)
3. My garage getting cleaned out to become my "jewelry studio".
