well today is my first full day home from hospital, and i feel pretty good.  I didnt relize how overwelming it would be to see all of the meds and vitamens together that i would have to take.  It seems like i could fill up on just those. lol  I feel really good though, i only have a bit of pain on my left side and some gas pain in shoulder that doesnt feel to good at all.  Other than that though everything has been pretty good, and uneventfull, yeah yeah yeah!  I had the best angel ever, she actually came to see me, which was really nice.  The hospital care was great.  I will post more on my profile page soon.

Hi Jennifer!!!

Welcome home and to the loser's bench!!!  I know it all seems a bit overwhelming - it's almost harder to wrap your head around the mental things than the physical.

Don't despair, just hang in there, do what your doc says, and it will all fall into place.

I remember having horrible gas pains in my shoulder - very strange.  Walking as much as you can will help with gas.

Again, hang in there, be kind to yourself and don't expect too much too soon - your body and mind have some healing to do.

Hugs,
Tia

Welcome home! The emds seem a lot at the beginning but once you get your schedule down, it won';t seem like a lot. I also know I used to take 6 Calcium Citrate pills a day. I switched to the BA Calcium wafers and I only have to do 2 a day.

Like somebody else said, try to walk as much as you can, even if it's form the bed to the living rooma nd back to pass out :-)
