Are there any good places to...

Go dancing?  For the 30+ crowd?  I want to start going out and dancing again, but haven't done it since I was in my early 20's and definitely don't want to have to compete with the 20 somethings to have some dance floor space.

Any ideas in and around Baltimore?

I was thinking maybe we could do this as a group.

Ren, if we do this as a group - I'm sure we can shove off the 20somethings no matter where we are!

We'd take over the floor and not let them back on?

Just a thought!

What type of dancing did you want? I like everything but country's my favorite, and I go the Cancun Cantina in Hanover. For dance club style dancing, I went to DC the last time I went anywhere. But, I hate the drive/metro back.

Doesn't the Cancun Cantina also have a rock band/bar side that plays dance music between sets?

I used to go there in the old days--hubby loves country, I love rock and dance--we're a little bit country, and we're a little bit rock 'n roll. Sorry, couldn't resist!

I don't even know honestly. I used to enjoy dance music of 90's R&B and 80's Rock.
I would have to say they would be my preferences.

Hey I know where we can go!

It's dark, has cheesy music, lots of glitter and mirrors everywhere - and money and booze flows in those places!

How about the Block!?!?

Speaking of which, we could always do THIS!
