3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!!!

I only have a moment today. I am a little off schedule since I had an MD appt. and just got into the office. I just wanted to pop my head in for a moment.

I had a really great weekend, health-wise, one of the best I have had in a long time. I managed my eating very well, plus I worked out at the gym both Saturday and Sunday. Needless to say, this is building up my confidence and resolve to stay the course and continue to make improvements. Since I am usually consistent during the workweek, I am looking forward to making some headway this week with the scale. My fingers are crossed.   For today, I am grateful for….

1 - That I finally made an appointment about the rash on my foot. Turns out it is not athlete's foot after all. It is a severe contact dermatitis reaction (allergy). I am totally shocked. While I still don't know exactly what is causing it, at least I know how to treat it going forward. I was using all of the wrong stuff! The silver lining is that I can go back into the pool this week - yeah!!!!

2 - That I finally had a good weekend. My head won the battle when I went to the grocery store. I passed by all of the things I wanted, but know I cannot control in moderation. If I could control them, it would be no problem to buy them, but I can't. I wil lhave to save those things for special occasions.

3 - For feeling good even though I have a ton of stuff to accomplish at work this week!

Thinking of you all and hoping you all have a good day!

Hi Deb!!!  I'm glad you got the correct diagnosis for you foot - I know it's made you miss the pool, which is a sin for you!!  LOL!!!

You know, it's an accomplishment in itself that you can recognize that you can't control your eating in moderation.  I'm the same way, so I've learned to just not buy.  It's much safer that way!!  Hang in there - you're doing great!!!

Hope you have a great, productive, stress-free week!

Hugs,

Tia

Morning Nic!!!

Provided you haven't gotten too discouraged, Darla and I are committed - or is that SHOULD be committed, to attending your 4/23 Support Group Meeting.  At this point, I can't commit to the May meeting, because I'm not sure if softball games will be M-W or T-TH, but I'll let you know.  We will be there!!  I'll try to come up with some wls friendly snack or such!!  If nothing else, it'll give me a chance to see you.

Cool on Orlando!!!!  VERY cool on the company's dime!!!

Gotta love the furbabies who ALLOW you to sleep in their bed!!  This a.m., I couldn't find Happy - she was at the foot of the bed, kind of in a pouch made by falling off the foot of the bed into the bottom of the top sheet!!!  LOL!!!  She was just hanging there, snug as a bug in a rug!!  I untucked the top sheet and she just kind of oooozed onto the floor!!  Goofy!!  LOL!!!

Have a great day!

OMG....that is hilarious about Happy!!!    I don't use a top sheet because they end up getting untucked and tangled throughout the night.  Plus Colby was the only one that liked to sleep under the covers.

I know!!!  It was like a little sling for her - A Snoggie!!!  (Snuggie for dogs)  LOL!!!  She is living proof that you CAN sleep anywhere!!

After I freed her, she just kind of blinked, looked at me like, "What????" and hopped back up, curled up in a ball and went right back to sleep!!!

God, what WOULD we do without our babies???
