Well I Finally Tried.....
making a protein boosted smoothie! It was pretty good, but I still need to tweek it. here's what I did:
1 container honey flavored greek yogurt
1/2 cup fresh pineapple
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup water
ice
3 packets truvia
1 pack unflavored Unjury protein
Well, after blenderizing it.....viola, smoothie! It was pretty good, but I think I needed more liquid to it to minimize the protein powder. Other than that, it was pretty good! The total protein was 34 grams! The total calories was 100! There was no sugar or fats in it! The calories I thought was a little high, but this makes 2 servings.......so each serving would be 50 calories, & 17 grams of protein! I didnt think this was bad!
Any input?????

personally I'm not a smoothie kind of person but a couple of comments based on my south beach exeperience:
1. HONEY FLAVORED yogurt? what are the ingredients are you sure there is no added sugar?? I would use plain non-fat greek yogurt.
2 I would not use fruit juice. Maybe crystal light orange or sugar free tang??? would cut the sugar and the calories. also orange juice has about 1-15 grams of natural sugar per half cup...

Ok.....so I made a false comment......
the yogurt had 18 grams of sugar, so split into 2 drinks it had 9 grams per serving.
Yes, the crystal light would be so much better, but since I didnt have any, I was just experimenting, so I used what I had.....like I said, I was just trying stuff out!

This sounds great!! Good for you already working on the protein drinks!!! Way to go! I am going to try this. Yes it sounds like a little more water would be good. I have some honey yogurt and need to do something with it so I will try your receipe with a few variables.
Take care and thanks for sharing.

Wow that sounds good but since I am trying to stay away from sugar and dairy I would need to change some of the stuff used to make it. It does sound good. I am glad you liked it and good job on trying a new drink...Take care...
