SHOUT-OUT FROM CIRA
Got an email from Cira last night - I really miss her here on the boards. She's extremely busy and totally tired at the end of the first two weeks of her 14 week training. The commute is killing her and now, more than ever, she gets how freakin' excited we are to say TGIF!! Cause she's living it, too!!!!
The family is doing okay, at least no one's really sick right now. Her oldest daughter, Tara, has been taking care of the younger kids, and so far, so good - Cira hasn't come home to find Tara duct-taped or worse!!!
Gino's doing well, too, becoming even more handsome than before wls!!
So that's an update from our friends in WV!!! They miss us SO much!!!!!

Hi Nessa,
The killer is the commute so when I get home I am too exhausted to get online and the little bit of time I have I spend it with my kiddos and the prepare for the next day and in bed by 10pm.
Hopefully I will catch up over the weekend and monst of everyone is not here.

How are you doing?
I went back to work for Verizon Communications Residential line. I used to work for them before but I left 6 years ago after I had Gianna. Everything changes with communications so when you are hired there is a mandatory 14 weeks training for sales consultants. I am about to start my third week of training tomorrow and in order to stay with the company you have to pass all assessments and mastery exams. It is a bit intense and boring at the same time.
The office is located in Silver Spring, MD so I commute through 270 everyday. I leave no later than 5:45 am each day so I can get there on time by 8am. I leave at 4pm and I must get to 495 by 4:15pm so I don't get stuck in major traffic.
The commute is a killer but I know it will all be worth it in the long run. I am planning to go back to school and Verizon pays 100% of the tuition plus books reimbursement. I am looking at the bick picture and trying to not let the commute discourage me. Gino is used to the commute he but for me is a bit much when I barely spend time with my children.
In 30 months I can apply for another position in Hagerstown, MD Which is inhouse maintenance tech that will definitely bring me closer to home.

Wow, I really miss Cira. She has supported me since day one and sorry Tia you have now kinda took her place since shes been back to work. I really appreciate both of you guys to the moon and back.. I know you both will always be here for me and so many others.. Thank you both.....

I miss you too sweetie. I am glad you are still posting and being active on the forum. Tia is wonderful she has been there for me since day 1 and I am so glad that she is being there for you too.
I will always be around just not as often.
