I Dub Thee "Sleep-LESS Study"
I agree with everyone who called the sleep study the "sleepless study". Whew, it was a ROUGH night last night! I felt like I could barely move with all of the wires. Plus I kept losing the one of my leg, so the tech had to keep coming in and putting it back on.
The worst part of it all was that it was about 100 degrees in my room. I was roasting. I had to call them in to bring me a fan. This was after I was soaked in sweat... ewww. Then by the morning I was freezing lol, go figure.
I'm also used to going to bed later because I wor****il 11pm. They had me going to bed at 11, which isn't too bad but still not what I'm used to. I felt like it took forever to fall asleep. Actually, I felt like I didn't sleep at all but apparently I did sleep for a few hours. I thought it was about 3am, when the tech came in and said "good morning" at 6am.
The tech couldn't tell me too much. I asked if I snored and he said "not too much". So, I guess that's a good thing. I go back for the results on the 31st.
I'm glad to have this out of the way! Can't wait to get home from work tonight and sleep in my own bed!

Congratulations on getting past that one! I could not sleep either. And it always seemed by the time I was all situated just right, I needed to get up and use the rest room. Of course, the tech then had to come back in and disconnect me so I could get up! They told me too that I actually did sleep, but I never really felt like I did.
ah see I had no problems with mine. I was awake at 5:30 to pee anyway.. so home I went...
but then we go to bed around 9:30 and get up at 5 most days.
oh and i was allowed to read or watch tv with my second one. which is good i'm used to sleeping with the tv on.
the first one was lights out no book no tv...

Your experience sounds much like mine, except that the tech took pleasure (I think) in telling me that I had SEVERE snoring!! Nice! When I went back for the second study with a CPAP machine, I felt like I slept even worse with the added discomfort of the mask and forced air.
Hopefully you wont' need a CPAP, thereby eliminating the need for a second study!
Happy sleeping tonight!

Oh yea no sleep it felt like the tech said you dont really snore. I told him I didnt sleep he said oh yes you di for 2 hours nad that was enough. 2nd time was hell I felt like I was choking from the air being pushed down my nose and throat then the crazy mask. I couldnt get comfortable to lay down....Good Luck...
