Love the Wow Moments

Last night I went to the Fleetwood Mac Concert at the Verizon Center and had tons of Wow moments...  First when getting on the subway and sitting with my honey, there was space between us, not our hips and shoulders were not squished together.  Then I walked up steps when the escalators were broke and didn't think twice about it other than to Wow I didn't used to be able to do this and I didn't even get winded.  Then when we got to the concert and I sat in my seat I had extra room my butt wasn't squished in the seat, and my fat arms weren't squished into him or the person next to me.  I had tons of extra room.

Last time I went to a concert with him last summer at Nissan I remember standing at the bottom of the hill and looking at all the stairs I had to climb to get the concert thinking OMG.  I had to stop half way up the hill I was so out of breath, and then I had to stop at the top of the steps again and catch my breath I was so winded.  Then I had to sit on the edge of my seat because my butt was so big if I sat back I flowed over into his seat and felt like I was poured into him and over flowing in his space it was so embarassing.

It was just a night full of wow's and a really good concert.  I love my RNY everyday and wish I would of done this 10 years ago.

You go girl!  And I'm jealous that you saw Fleetwood Mac.

A few years ago me and hubby went to the Del state fair to see Larry the Cable Guy and we were miserable the entire time. Both of us were too big for the seats and spilling over, squished, hot, and the person on either side of us were leaning the other direction as far as they could go so they didnt have to touch us. It was embarrassing. We actually left early because it was so hot (it was in July outside) and we vowed we would not go back to anything like that until our weight was off.

That is awesome!!!  I can't wait for that moment myself.  I don't like going to sport events, concerts or what not for that very reason.

BTW, GREAT concert choice, Stevie Rocks!

Thanks so much for all your kind words.  Like so many of you I too hated going to events for spilling over into other seats.  I used to always order end seats so that I could hang off the end and that way would only make my hunny uncomfortable.  How ironic when I no longer had to order end seats the computer gave me end seats and I didn't even need them.

Concert was GREAT by the way.  Stevie look phenominal as ever, and Lindsay B was unbelievable on the guitar last night, he was definately having a good time playing his heart out.

Wow I know that was a special moment. I can remember when I lost weight years ago and felt the same thing. I cant wait to feel this way again. I always wondered what the person sittting next to me must be thinking. I am going to see Larry the Cable Guy in 2 weeks in PA. I guess I better get ready to be squished again.... I wish you many more wow moments....
