Good Morning!

Today, I'm grateful for:

1. As always, my wonderful OH friends!

2. The support I'm getting for Relay for Life and that I have another OH Member who has joined the Sisterhood of the Shrinking Pants.   We are going to have a blast!!!

3.  My scale! There are some mornings I want to kneel down and kiss it as a thank you for moving for me. However, I know it isn't really the scale, it's the person on the scale who makes the right choices!

"The difference between try and triumph is just a little umph!"

Good Morning!

I wish everyone a wonderful day. I am determined to have a good productive day, personally and professionally! So  I may not be online much.

Today I am grateful for...

1 - Little things - When I opened my mail I found that I had won 2 free passes to Sugarloaf (Craft Festival). This comes in handy because I love to go to Sugarloaf and it is nice to be able to save on the admission fee! P.S. If any of you like to go to Sugarloaf too, visit their web site each week and fill out the entry form for the free tickets drawing. There is always a question to answer, but that answer is in an obvious place on their site. This is the second time I have won passes.

2 - It is too early to be certain, but I think some new things I am trying are helping with my athlete's foot!

3 - For all of you and being able to witness all of the beautiful transformations. You are all beautiful anyway. But it is fabulous to see your hopes and dreams realized. It is the best part of my day!

(((((hugs Debbie))))))

I had an issue with Athlete's foot a long time ago that lasted a very long time and nothing worked until my doctor prescribed Naftin     Nafttifine HCL 1% cream.  Everything that I used prior to this just relieved it for a while and then it would come back full force.  The problem stopped for good with that cream. As your PCP about it if you have not used it yet.

You are such a sweetheart I love your number 3 ad Congrats on winning the 2 free passes to sugarloaf.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Today's grateful list is a short one for me:

1.  Today is my Dad's 82nd Birthday:  and like Tia did on her Moms B-Day this
one is dedicated to my dad.  Even though he drives me nuts sometimes I am
so blessed to have him as my Dad.  A friend and I were talking this weekend and
she Said " Darla, its no wonder you never got married: no man could ever
compare to your Dad"  I know what she means;  Dad has spent his life
building a good life for all of us kids ( 5) and my mom.  His dad deserted his mom
when he was only a year old and I think that's why he has been such a great Dad
for all of us.  He truly is a self-made man and a generous one as well.

He was there for me every step of the way surgurywise and even gave me shots
for a week after I got home.  Watching him now take care of his meds and my
moms is a weekly occurance.  It takes almost an hour but every Saturday
he gets out the meds and vitamins and prepares the pill boxes for the next week.
He's also primary caretaker of my little furbaby -  He gives her the insulin shot everyday -
and keeps unbeliveble records of her water intake & output, her daily sugar levels,
etc. etc.  Mom accuses  him of being obsessive about it but the vet has
often complimented him on the record keeping.

Yes I know this was a long one but I guess I just needed to express how I feel
about my Daddy LOL

Have a great day everyone/
