     Exactly.....I really liked the way it was broken down! Even tho it was info I already had gotten, it was nice to see it in black & white! Now I can pick up the book & glance when I forget something! LOL

Thats awesome! I swear I have become quite the cook! I always cooked alot before surgery but it has almost become a passion of mine since surgery. I have tried more new recipes in the last 5 months then in prob the last 5 years. I LOVE finding recipes and seeing what I can do to make them WLS friendly and healty and still very tasty!!  Just remember if you find a recipe that calls for sour cream............then greek yogurt all the way!! lol You cant tell a bit of difference and it saves calories and adds extra protein, gotta love that!

I think youll find even in recipes that arent meant for WLS people you can tweak them to fit your needs!

Funny enough I just met with her. I had already bought her book and had no idea it was her. I took it with me to the appointment and she signed it for me. It was funny. She is really good. She helped convince me I am doing well despite my questioning myself at every turn! She reminded me to just listen to my body and follow the "rules". I think those two books (have them myself) are a really good start.
