Good for you for getting it all scheduled!

Way to go, Lauren!!!

It IS a lot of appointments and running, but just look at it as a means to an end.  Each completed test/appointment will bring you that much closer to wls!!

One tip, though:  Be prepared to be tired on the 25th from your sleep study the night before - I jokingly refer to it as a sleepless study, but I'm NOT kidding.  I slept, of course, but because you're hooked up to a bunch of wires in an unfamiliar (albeit very nice) setting, it's HARD to sleep!!  I took off the next day from work, and boy, was I glad I did!!

Keep us posted and hang in there!!

Yes it is :  but as I always say it is so worth it in the end!!!

Just hang on tigut - you are in for the ride of your life.

I used to have white coat syndrome big time but after my surgury 19 months ago and
all the visits leading up to it I don't even stress out anymore in Dr's offices.

My husband HATES doctors - in 10 years of marriage he has seen ONE... at a urgent care facility...

After my sleep study when I went to get fitted for my CPAP he went with me.  As we pulled in he said "I will go in there with you, but if they ask me to do anything I will say NO AND IF THE TOUCH ME I AM LEAVING" I cracked up laughing and went into the offic still laughing...  Luckily they did not touch him.

Since he has attended neurology appointments with me, went to the neurosurgeon, etc.  he is becoming an old hat...  He is even going to come with me for surgery and such although I told him my parents could handle it... :)

Someday - he might even see a doctor on his own!  I have hopes for him now!

Congrats on all the appointments. I know you will be glad when all is said and  done. I am very curious what the GI appointment is for and why 3 visits. I also would like to know about the exercise and blood gas what does that mean?
I also have had 2 sleep studies and I didnt feel like I slept at all and to my surprise I do indeed have sleep apnea. I hope I am not being nosy but I would like to know what I have tolook forward to.

Loser's visualize the penalties of failure. Winners visualize the rewards of success.
