3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY!!!
I really need to remind myself of the good stuff right now, because I just feel so disappointed by other things in my life. I almost blew my car up this weekend (long story, best told in person - in a way it is funny), I think I have developed athlete's foot (sigh), I still have my daily struggles with the eating (some good moments, some not so good).......
Anyway, I refuse to give in to the cold. I turned my heat off at home this weekend and I am going to do everyhting I can not to turn it back on. My coar has also been in my car, but I have not been wearing it. I am trying to see how long I get away with it. (I am wearing a sweater - not completely crazy - yet).
Watch that snooze button. That is my fav habit. I have been known to hit it until it does not go off anymore. Then an hour later.... talk about rush hour!
I agree, it is wonderful having folks to pal around with at the gym. Sometimes, it is even just knowing they are there that adds something to the experience. Like we are all in this together.
P.S. Darla, If you recall, I forgot to remind our trainer about that special move. She was already starting us on it when I remembered.
Some day I will have to sit down and finally understand all of the ins and ouots of facebook. I do have an account, but I have not done a whole lot with it. There are also a lot of folks from work there. So I am very careful as to what I say. I don't feel like I can speak as openly there as I can here.
Congrats April! Your new pics are great! I am so happy for you!
I am happy you had a good visit with Dr. vR, Nessa. You are well on your way!
I am glad to hear that there is some healing going on out there. Hopefully, those still on the mend will continue to recover quickly.
There is no way my feet are ever going to be friendly with heels again. My feet are in such bad shape, just the thought makes me wince. Besides, I don't need the altitude - LOL!
Today, I am grateful for...
1 - That no matter how frustrated some days are, I am still so much better off than I used to be. Life is still much better and I am still happier than I have been in many, many years.
2 - That I have finally figured out how to find the secret sound clues online for my morning radio show. Now all I need is to be able to get through and be caller number 9! The prize is a pair a plane tickets!
3 - For all of you!
Debbie
"P.S. Darla, If you recall, I forgot to remind our trainer about that special move. She was already starting us on it when I remembered"
I stand corrected LOL
And yes : sometimes knowing that I will see you, Gail or Helen makes the trip to the gym easier to make. I even find myself looking for you on the weekends when I drag myself in.
Hope today goes well and I will miss by water class buddy :
You need to let me know how to find those clues on line : I listen everyday but have never found the clue.
Julie
Mom I hope you rest in Peace knowing that you were loved and will be missed. Keep love alive in your

Deb!!!
O M G!!!!!! I'm SO glad we didn't have to hear about you on the news!!!! I'm glad you're okay!!!
I'm with you on the heat/cold, although it was so raw out this a.m., that Dad turned it back on for Mom....or so he says - I think it was for him!!! Either way, as long as they're comfortable, I'm okay.
Hitting the snooze twice usually allows me enough time to adjust - but you're right, any more than that and I could be in trouble!!!
I Facebook, but frankly, don't have time/patience for ALL of its intricacies - the requests, drinks, groups, etc. All I wanted to do was reconnect with people!!!!! LOL!!!
And I totally agree - nothing anyone puts on the Internet should EVER be considered private!!!
Sending you a big hug, cause girl, it sounds like you desperately need it!!!!
Love ya,
Tia
P.S. Needless to say, I was nervous driving the car after this experience. After all, there still could be some drips of oil that could ignite - right?! So I called my nephew and followed his instruction to take it to the self serve car wash and spray plain water over the area under the hood. I have not had problems since then. I sooooo need this car to last me a while longer!
My opinion is that no one is an intruder unless they come with derogatory stuff about our progresses and changes and decisions.
And Nessa, if we need to give her a slap or a hug, I work in Millersville, I'm one exit away from Crofton. All you gotta do is tell me to go, and I'll hug her at least three times over for me, you and Tia!
Jill, everyone is welcome here. We don't have cliche's or in groups here, we are all open as long as everyone is treated with respect or is brown-nosed.
I have truly enjoyed your posts and look forward to hearing from you every day. You bring a freshness to the board. Not to say that we are all old farts here, but it's nice to see a different perception of one who has not yet reached the climax of the journey (the surgery).
