OT - Willow is gone
The vet called me back a couple of hours ago to let me know that she'd only been able to get 1cc of fluid out of Willow's chest and had been able to get another x-ray. It appeared to her to represent a tumor rather than fluid/water and Willow was getting weaker and weaker. We could have put her on oxygen, IV fluids, etc and have more tests run, but we decided it would be the best thig to put her out of her pain. That's what we did, with Mike and I by her side the whole time. She was a fighter to the end and we will miss her as reclusive as she was, she was still a part of our family!
Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers today. It means the world to me!
Love you all,
Heather

I KNOW your heart is breaking - mine is, too, for you. Willow's already in Heaven, saying, "Man, I had a good life with my people!"
Sometimes, the best thing is the hardest thing.
Call me if you need me.
Love to you and Mikey and the cheeses,

I know words are small now, but the love of a pet is such a blessing and it hurts so much to have to let them go.
