3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!!!

OMG!!  The weekends just FLY by, don't they?  Ugh!!!  Hope you all had a fabu weekend - I did!

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  Time with just Mom - We went to a luncheon bingo at Holy Rosary Church on Saturday.  For $10, you got lunch (fried shrimp, homemade pierogi, veggie, bread, dessert and tea) and MANY games of bingo!!  It all started around noon and we didn't leave until about 4:30.  I didn't win any $, but won a door prize of a box of pizzelles - Mom was happy!!  We just had a nice, relaxed day together.  We hadn't expected to be kid-free, but since K was sick (and still is, but slightly better - now B is coughing!!!), my brother had the kids all weekend.  It was a nice surprise!!

2.  The glorious weekend temps.  Even if it wasn't especially sunny yesterday, it was still nice enough to have the windows open!!  Ahhh, fresh air!!

3.  Warranties - I put my car in the shop yesterday for some repairs and it turns out that the alignment was out, which ruined the 2 front tires, which were relatively new.  Because I'd taken the service plan out on them, it only cost me $50 to replace the 2, as opposed to $200+!!!  Then, this a.m., I noticed that my cell is only holding a minimum charge, ugh!  It's under warranty, also, BUT that means I need to deal with the Verizon people after work - no fun!!!!

4.  My dental work on Friday was relatively quick and painless.  I say relatively because although I've had crowns made before, I must have "forgotten" that the molding compound is cold and squishy.  My pouch instantly rebelled - it felt like I was biting into a cold slug!!!  No, Candy, I DON'T know what that actually feels like, thanks, but I can imagine!!!  I really wasn't in much pain, although today, my jaw is really tender from the needle.  And my wallet hurts, too.  SIGH!!

OH we love Bingo.  Sorry that B is getting sick.  my hubby was coughing last night and my BFF called this morning she's sick now.  ugh.

as for me:

1. i'm grateful it's MONDAY and we have our appointment today
2.  i'm grateful for flextime and the abiltiy to get to work at 6:15 so i only use 3 hours of leave
3. i'm grateful for  (WARNING TMI) normal dog poops finally after 4 months of pudding poops. we finally discoverd that Harley (my newfoundland rescue) is allergic to chicken, beef and grain.  he now eats  salmon and sweet potato but he's doing fine....

I'm sure you're bouncing around like a rubber ball!!!!!

My car isn't TOTALLY fixed - they need to order parts and I've got to put it back in next weekend, but after that (crossing fingers), we should be good to go for a while!!  Knocking on wood that I've never had any major issues with it!!  I will DEFINITELY be buying another Hyundai next time!!!

Glad you got Harley figured out!!!!  Poor baby!!!  Is he actually eating real salmon and sweet potato or is that the dog food formula?  When we first got Happy, she was on the duck/sweet potato food - MAJOR EXPENSIVE!!!!

the Natural Balance Kibble  Fish and Sweet Potato.   yep it's about 2 dollars a pound.  and hannah gets about 3 cups a day and harley gets about 5!

Yes the temps were FANTASTIC this weekend :  I broke out the floral pants and
white Tshirt on Saturday .

!. That Tia's dentist appointment was quick and painless Friday :  You texted
me around 3:30 that you were done. I spent over an hour getting 2 fillings  earlier
in the week so I was impressed with the only 30 minute appointment you had LOL

2.  Time spent with friends this weekend:  hanging out with Kathy Friday and
Lunch with Toni Saturday then bingo with MAC friend Saturday night.

3.  For having the energy to literally run all day Saturday from 8:30 am
to 11:30 pm --  with only 1 hour break at home with my Furbaby.  She stuck to
me like glue yesterday LOL -  I went to church then came home for a couple
hours and went to the MAC --  she was at the door crying when I left for the MAC
and Mom told me she stayed by that door the 1.5 hours I was gone waiting for me.

4.  That despite the busy day Saturday I found time for the MAC both Saturday and
Sunday.

Me, too!!  My appt. was over before I knew it!!!  Either that or I'm getting a LITTLE too used to it!!!!

My next one is the actual crown and four fillings, and he still said it should only take a little over an hour.  We'll see!!!

Okay, so you won't be surprised when Cuddles starts asking you for ID!!!!!!  LOL!!!!!

today i am finding it hard to see the good but i am going to try. that is all i can do.

1. my cold is getting better.
2. i did well on both interviews and should be able to choose whatever i want.
3. my first group is thursday and really hoping things work out well!
