now I am really confused re: DVR OFFICE
Hey,
At least while he waits on his dentures to be fixed, he will be on soft food and/or liquids! If he wasn't a bit scared, I would wonder if it he surgery was for him. If he was doing the walk, bending and moving now, he would not be in the boat he is in. The problem is, we wait to long to realize we need to move, and then we hurt so bad it doens't work. If only our bodies stayed children!
I HATE the dentist, hate hate hate - considering making an appointment just over a week after surgery just so I won't cancel it because my parents will be here with me! LOL
I love where the office is, I work on Rolling Road, and it is only about a 10 minute journey - meaning my preop class lets out at 10, and I can still be at work by 10:15 which is earlier than I normally stroll in!
I will be gone before you get to the appt, but would love to hear how it goes!

My husband works at SSA, well over at the NCC anyhow... I drop him off there every morning... (The guards even know me now LOL)
I can't have lunch yet, on my liquid fast starting today... Ugh! It has NOT been easy and it has only been half a day so far! Would love to come to lunch post op and have something light once i get back to work... Planning to be back in my office on March 30th.
I work up past the post office in the next business park at a tiny company... www.classicpersonalizedgifts.com in the manufacturing dept...
I don't have a clue where he is... I am not allowed in the building *Grins* I have to sit outside and wonder just what security are hiding!
What do you do? Are you a contractor? He is... I am not even sure what floor he is on, I know he is not with the rest of his division whatever that means, I think he is on the 4th floor now, but used to be on the 5th. He is one of the dns admins for linux...

Lee has been up there for about 2 years, before that we worked for a defunct company downtown. When things started to go downhill there he applied and got hired by a contractor thats name has escaped me, but they were outbid/unable to compete and a new contractor came in and he got "rolled over" to MicroTech.
He is "hostmaster" along with one other guy...
Did you come in as a fed? That is the goal with Lee, however he has to become a US citizen first, *sigh* and filing and paying for that has not yet hit the top of our list of goals for 2009... (First up is carpet which is being installed next week, then a fenced yard, and then maybe citizenship paperwork if I win, if he wins, a big screen TV might take the top next up...)
So many things to do any pay for that it seems just as we get to the next goal something goes wrong and another money situation arises that depletes the fund for our "goals' and we have to start over!

Wow...
He started as a geek at least in theory, then he went to univeristy and has a degree in media studies, he wanted to work in television at one point...
Then he moved to the US and found that his accent was going to hold him from his goals I think. We met online while he was at university, I am not sure moving across the world was part of the grand scheme of his life plan back then. However, once we met, it became apparent something was there and he moved to the US...
He found that doing what he was good at, was easier than finding what he was trained for... We lived in WV at that time, and it is NOT a tech industry, so he found a job and loved it... He has been my resident geek since *Grins*
He is Micro Tech...
