3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY!!!!!
Good freezing cold morning!!! OMG!!! My hands were so cold, even in gloves, that they burned!!! And my toes, too!! No, they weren't in gloves!!! LOL!!! BRRR!!!! Hope no one suffered too much with the snow - although it looks like our friends south of Baltimore got socked!!!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. CVS Minute Clinic - I woke up on Saturday with a HORRIBLE earache and Dad took me there - 20 minutes later, I walked out with ear drops and antibiotics. It's all better now!!!
2. State government liberal leave - As soon as I saw this yesterday, I went right back to sleep. Well..............................until Darla texted me awake!!! LOL!!!!
3. Do nothing time!!! After I shoveled yesterday, because I wouldn't let Dad do it (although he did stand on the porch and smoke a cigarette while I was doing it, so I SHOULD have let him shovel!!), I came in the house, made a cup of chai tea and settled down with Mom and Happy to watch a marathon of The Sopranos. Mom had never really gotten into the series when it was on HBO, rather she always watched the reruns which, of course, were cut and bleeped to no end!!! I was squirming a little yesterday with all the boobs and four letter words on the DVD's!!! LOL!! But it was nice to sit and do absolutely NOTHING!!!
Hope everyone is well!! Stay bundled up today and watch for the ice/snow flying off of other vehicles!!!
Hugs,
Tia

I tried to quit on the Zyban twice and it didn't work. But Chantix was the best thing for me. Be ready to quit cold turkey after 14 days of taking that medicine, and don't touch another pack, not even buy it. That's how I managed to do it.
Best of luck to you!!!!!
Heather -
Wow!! You guys got SOCKED!!!! I know how rare that is down there, though. I remember one Valentine's Day when I was at the beach and it snowed - O M G! It was beautiful!!!
I know how relieved you must be to reach that 6 month mark!!!! On to the next step, now!!
I commend you for stopping smoking, too!! You can do this!!! Stay strong!! You're doing so much good for your body - both with the wls and the smoking!!!
Hugs,
Tia
Since you and I have never slept together - LMAO!!!! - you have NO idea how quickly I can fall back to sleep!!! Mom said she's never seen anything like it!!!! I can be having a coherent conversation one minute, roll over and poof! I'm gone!!!!!
Never hang your head in shame for that!!! Now for your eating/drinking habits, yes, by all means!!!

1. Thank goodness for Liberal Leave policies! I took advantage of it, I was worn out from the weekend, painting, and ripping and running getting this and that while we were in Richmond.
2. America's Next Top Model kept me awake all day long yesterday - I like that show! (it was on Oxygen and they run the entire series together. I've never seen the Sopranos - so when you guys are done with that, can I borrow it?
3. Since Dr. Singh cancelled my appointment yesterday, I managed to sweet talk Sue into squeezing me in at 2:45 today. I need an adjustment bad, and not an attitude one, a hunger one.
4. I realized that Darla has been able to make her fluids most of the time (can't remember if it's NOW all the time - and noticed that it may have some connection to that Sobe Lifewater... - it's a 20 ounce bottle, and if you really enjoy it - it's easy to drink 3 of those!!!!) Good job Darla!!!!
Stay warm! Enjoy the sunshine and the beauty of the snow before it gets ugly, and I hear it's gonna be spring fever this weekend!!!!!
